Chapter 12

A few days after the gang we're at the live performance of Lisa and Jennie for their collaboration for YG.  The girls were amazing as always capturing the crowd with their outstanding vocals and charismatic stage presence.

V met with Jennie after their performance while Lisa went to find Jimin. As Lisa walked  backstage she saw her aunt CL talking to a man, it seemed as if she didn't want to talk to him. Lisa didn't want to get involved, but she walked closer to hear. "Get away from me Bruce",CL said sounding tired. "I just want to meet her",Bruce said desperately. Bruce didn't look Korean, but Lisa had sworn that she'd seen him before. She quickly snapped a pic and rushed to find Jimin, after showing Jimin the pic she showed Jennie and V. "You think he could be my father?",Jennie asked looking at V. "Let's not get our hopes up, but maybe",he said with a straight
face. Jennie headed home that night pondering over the situation about a thousand times before deciding to do something in the morning.

"Is he my father?",She said throwing picture down in front of her mom. CL looked as if she had been hit by a bullet, "Where did you get this?",she asked trembling. "It doesn't matter, is he my father or not?", Jennie said trying to remain strong. "V gave this to you didn't he?",CL said. "How would you know that?",Jennie asked as her pulse rate went up. "There's only two people who had access to that picture, me and Lillian",CL said. Jennie recognized the name immediately, it was V's mother.

"You knew his mother?",she asked. "We were best friends her and I, then one day Lillian's sister had an affair with V's dad and from that relationship V was born",CL admitted with tears running down her face. "What? So Lillian's not his biological mother?",Jennie said in disbelief. "No she wasn't. Your father wanted to tell Lillian, but then V's father fired him from his job and he left",CL said blowing her nose into a tissue. "If all of that happened then why are they your business partners?",Jennie asked. "Because I no longer blame them even though they were the reason that your father left us, it was years ago",CL said. "We can't tell V",Jennie said.

Suddenly both of them whipped their heads around to the sound of the front door closing quickly, Jennie ran outside to see who it was and to her dismay it was V. He had heard everything they discussed and raced home immediately. "What are you gonna do?",CL asked coming outside. "I'm gonna go after him, he came after me when I needed him to",she said racing off to her car.
