We made it to the Sanctuary about forty minutes after we left the Order. I burst into the Tavern with Layla in my hands, running down to my examination room.

"Kara! Kara, I need you, get to the examination room right now!", I yelled as I ran through the Sanctuary and through the crowds of people. Everyone moved to the side as I passed, looking at Layla with pity. Kara emerged from the crowd.

"Fuck's sake, what happened to her?!", Kara questioned, running after me.

"Doesn't fucking matter what happened to her!", I yelled. "I'm going to need your help and I swear on the first Four Horsemen, if you complain I will kill you and I won't show you any mercy, understood?!", I yelled at her.

"Yes.", she curtly replied, opening the door to the examination room so Layla and I could pass. I placed her onto the table gently, washing my hands and coating them with alcohol. Kara did the same. I took a pair of scissors, cutting open Layla's clothes. Kara looked shocked at Layla's broken ribs and bruises, but she got everything we needed anyway.

I don't do operations often, no one has any need for them, but I knew everything I had to do. First, I needed to stop the bleeding and drain any internal bleeding. Then, I needed to place her ribs in their original position.

"What do you need me to do?", Kara asked.

"Get me a sedative. She might wake up from the pain. Get painkillers and then start preparing a remedy, any remedy you can. If you mess it up, I'll make you drink it yourself.", I threatened and she got to work. She gave Layla a strong sedative and then painkillers, going over to the counter to prepare a remedy.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop the bleeding. Layla will need the transfusion. "Kara, run as fast as you can, get your brother right now.", I told her, putting sterile gauze in Layla's wounds, trying to stop the bleeding. I was so angry at her, but that didn't matter right now. She can't die. Not today.

The siblings burst into the room and Karo froze in the doorway. "We don't have time for you to be in shock right now, just get over here!", I yelled at him. Kara went back to making the remedy. "Karo, I need you to do a blood transfusion on Layla and I, now!", I yelled and he ran around the room, gathering everything he needed.

"Xavi, you won't be able to operate with a tube stuck in your arm.", he commented and I growled.

"Watch me.", I said. I swear, I would do anything for her, even if it endangered me. "Kara, take over, stop the bleeding!", I barked orders left and right. Kara ran over, taking the gauze from my hands, holding it in one of Layla's numerous wounds.

I stuck out my arm for Karo.

"Xavi, there's one remedy in the hospital wing that can stop the bleeding.", Kara reminded me.

"You'll get it once your brother manages to stick the needle in my fucking vein!", I yelled. His hands were shaking so I took the needle, piercing my arm on my own, sticking the little tube in. I placed the other end in Layla's arm. My blood flowed through the tube and into Layla's arm.

"Karo, you go get that remedy!", I ordered, taking over from Kara who went back to making a stronger remedy. I watched Layla's face while I waited for Karo. She was pale, bloody and bruised. Why did she have to follow us? "Please stay alive. Please, Layla. Stay with me, little raven. Don't leave me, not today.", I quietly pleaded before putting my professional mask on once more just as Karo came back with the remedy.

He opened her mouth gently before pouring the entirety of the vial in Layla's mouth. He forced her jaw closed and she swallowed the liquid. I removed the gauze from the wound, watching the internal bleeding just stop. Now, I had to get her bones back in their proper place and close up all those outside wounds.
