Luke's pov a six days later) Lacey and Adam were out for the day and I needed to barrow Lacey's charger since I can't find mine so I went into her room in search of her extra charger when I opened a bag I thought was hers but turned out to be Adams and I found a black box so I opened it and saw an engagement ring
I quickly put it back and left the room and walked to Quinn's room
" Hey can I Barrow your charger" I asked
" Yea but why not barrow Lacey's extra" he said throwing me his
" I couldn't find it" I said
" What do you think Adams plans are for their relationship" he asked
" I don't know I mean he loves our baby sister" I said
" Yeah he does" he said
We talked for another few minutes than I went back to my room and played video games with jack since he walked in
Lacey's pov) Adam and I were out getting things for us to go to Nashville for the draft
" Babe what are you wearing" he asked
" That's for me to know and for you to find out" I said
" You know what I'm wearing" he groaned and I smiled
" Well it's Tight that's what your getting" I said and we drove home
Adam's pov) once we got back to her place we had dinner and lacey went out with some firends and I took this opportunity to ask Jim for Lacey's hand in marriage I quickly run up to laceys room and opened my bag grabbing the ring box opening it and smiled I walked down stairs and saw Jim out back and I walked out
" Jim could I um talk to you" I asked and he nodded
" Yea Adam what's up" he asked and I took a breath
" I um I've been thinking and I wanna ask your permission to marry lacey I know you just meet me a couple days ago but I love your daughter and I knew from the second I met her I knew she was the one " I said and he smiled
" Let me get Ellen" he said walking inside and coming out with Ellen behind him
" Adam why so nervous" Ellen asked
" Well Ellen I wanna ask yours and Jim's permission for laceys hand in marriage" I said and she smiled and looked at jim
" Of course you have our permission can we see it" she asked and I nodded opening the box
" It was my grandmas" I said and Ellen smiled
" That's beautiful but now you need the boy's permission" Jim said and I nodded
" So when are you gonna ask her" Ellen asked
" After the draft" I said and they nodded smiling
After that I quickly put the ring in my pocket walking inside and walking to Quinn's room
" Hey can I talk to you" I asked and he nodded
" Yea what's up" he said and I closed the door
" I'm gonna talk to jack and Luke and I've talked to your parents but I wanna ask if I can marry your sister I really love her and I couldn't imagine my life with out you" I said
" Well we all understand that this question was bound to happen and I give you my blessing and I don't even think you need to tell Jack and Luke Just promise not to hurt her" he said and I nodded
" I would never hurt her" I said
After I walked towards lacey's room and heard her laughing
" Luca don't get me wrong I love him I do but sometimes I just need some alone time"
Why is he's talking to my brother about me
"He's just annoying all he's talking about is the draft and Nashville and our future it's annoying "
" Alright bye Luca love you"
I let out a breath and walked down stairs out on the back deck and sat down and tried holding back tears she really thinks I'm annoying
Lacey's pov) I hung up with adams brother Luca and walked downstairs and saw my brothers and parents and no Adam
" Hey where's Adam" I asked
" He went outside he looked up set" mom said and I nodded walking out and saw him head down on his knees
" Babe" I asked and he ignored me

"ADAM" I yelled
" WHAT" he yelled back
" What's your problem " I asked
" Oh I don't know maybe the fact your complaining to my brother other than talking to me" he said and I looked at him
" Addy babe I'm sorry" I said going to hug him but he scooted away
" No don't" he said getting up walking inside and I followed
" Babe please"
" Are you cheating on me with my brother " he asked
" What" I asked
" Are you cheating on me with Luca I mean come on he's older than me and better looking "
At this point we're screaming

" You know what I'm tired I'm going to bed" I said going into my bathroom and changed than walked into see Adam laying down already facing the wall
I crawled into bed and faced away from him after shutting the lights off
