Lacey's pov the next day at the appointment) today Quinn took me to the clinic to confirm my pregnancy and I'm nervous
"Lacey Hughes" the nurse said and I stood up
"Do you want me to stay here or come with you" he asked
"Come with me please" I said and he nodded standing Up following me to the room
In the room) I sat in the table and the ob walked in
"Hi you must be lacey and you must be the babies father"she said looking at me than at quinn and we laughed
" No no I'm her brother but her fiancee and the babies father is in Ohio" Quinn said and I have never seen someone look so shocked in their life
"I'm so sorry "she said and we shrugged
"It's alright " I said
"Anyway if you could lay down and lift your shirt " she asked and I nodded laying down pulling my shirt up
"I really hope this is real my fiancee and I we had a false pregnancy in June and I want to clarify before I tell him"
"Well I hope this works out for you"
"I hope so to if I have estimated right the baby would be born a few months before our wedding" I said
"Well let's find out just to warn you this is really cold" she said and I nodded as she placed the jel on my stomach and grabbed the wand
As soon as the wand hit the jel I looked at the screen
"Well it looks like your five weeks along if you look right here you can see the fetus right here they are about the size of a sesame seed"she said and I smiled tears brimming my eyes
"This is so relieving to know"
"So if you don't mind me asking how old are you and your fiancee"
"Well me and my twin brother are turning twenty next month and my fiancee is turning 19 in October" I said
"Oh young but I'm sure you'll be great parents"
"Thank you I hope so too "
After the appointment we got ultrasound photos and went home
"How are you telling Adam "Quinn asked
"Face time him and tell him that I'm moving to Columbus in a few days and show him the photo" I said
"That's a good idea " he said and I smiled
"Alright I'm gonna go and tell him right now " I said as I ran upstairs to my bedroom and unlocked my phone Facetimeing Adam and he answered
"Hey lace whats up"
"Hey babe do you know how we had a pregnancy scare back in June right"
"Yea I really don't wanna think about that"
"Well what if I told you that I was five weeks pregnant"
"Lacey Rose you better not be fucking lying to me" he said and I saw his glossy eyes
"Baby I'm not lying Quinn and I just got back from the appointment " I said and he smiled
"We're gonna be parents" he said and I nodded
"Yea in Eight months"
" I can't wait I'll make sure that the third room is cleared out before you get here next week but what about cheer"
