Back in Michigan a few days later Adams pov) I sat on Lacey's bed nervous she had mentioned that she doesn't think the test was actually positive when I saw the door open and lacey walk out with glossy eyes and I knew it wasn't good
" It's negative" she said and I got up and hugged her
" It's okay it was just not ment to be maybe sometime in the future when your graduated and I'm steady in the NHL" I said kissing her head
" Ik but I really wanted this" she said and I hugged her
" I guess this was gods way of telling us that we're to young to have kids" I said and we went and laid down and we went on Netflix turning on outer banks
I played with her hair until she had fallen asleep and I decided to sleep as well so I turned the TV off and closed my eyes
Quinn's pov) mom asked me to go get Adam and Lacey so I walked up to laceys room to see them asleep so I shook Lacey's shoulder
" Quinn not now" she said and I smiled
" Mom needs you and Adam for something" I said and she nodded getting out of Adams grip and slapped him
" Babe wake up" she said and he opened his eyes sitting up
" What " he asked
" My mom wants us" she said and he nodded
Lacey's pov) we all walked out of my room Quinn going to his and Adam and I Went to my mom
" What's up" I asked as we sat down
" Well I just wanted to ask what's gonna happen once Adam moves to Columbus" she asked
" Well we're gonna look for an apartment with gavin" Adam said
" What about school and gymnastics " she asked again
" I'm gonna move to osu I already got a call from them saying they wanted me on the cheer team and if I get injured I'd be able to stay since I'm an all A's student and could just have a scholarship from my grades" I said and mom smiled
" That's good but promise me no grandchildren until after your married " she said causing me to look down and Adam smiled slightly
" Nows probably a better time then ever" Adam said softly and I nodded
" I took a pregnancy test before we left for Nashville and it was a false positive but then I took another today and it came back negative " I said and mom smiled softly
" Oh Hun it'll be alright it happens to the best how about we go out shopping " she said and I nodded
" That sounds fun are you good her with my brothers babe" I asked and he nodded
" Yea you guys go out and have fun" Adam said kissing my head and got up probably going to Luke's room
Mom and I left going to the mall
"So since you two want a summer wedding we should start planning soon" she said looking at me
" Yea but we wanna wait until I'm out of college and he's been in the NHL for a few years " I said
" That's a good plan " she said
This was a nice mother daughter time that's until mom looked at me for a split second
