Chapter 1

Janella's POV

Today is the fift day of class, my first to fourth day were fun because my friends were my classmates and I got to meet new people. While I was walking in the hallway to my first class, someone bumped into me and the books I was carrying fell from my arm so I quickly picked them up. I immediately stood up and saw the man in front of me, the tall man who bumped into me, his face is very familiar.

'Tsk he didn't even help me, he's so tall that he can't see what he's going through?' I said in my mind.

We just looked at each other for a few seconds and suddenly he spoke.

"Dummy, next time watch what you're walking so you don't get bumped by someone." said the man who bumped into me with a bad look and turned to leave in front of me

"Tsk, it's a shame you're handsome but not a gentleman, and also grumpy." I whispered loud enough for only me to hear, he suddenly faced me. God, did he still hear that?.

"What did you say?" he asked with a serious tone.

"N-nothing, I said I was l-late." I said with a slightly nervous tone, he turned again and walked away, wait, he's going up to the 4th floor?,
'where is that man going?, hey why am I still thinking about where he's going?. Never mind, I shouldn't care about him.' I said in my mind.
I continued walking when I got to the room, I immediately sat down and soon sir came in.

"Good morning class" he said.

We stood up from sitting and greeted him back "Good morning sir".

"Okay class, all of you sit down, and let your new transferee classmate introduce himself, come here hijo". the man referred to by sir immediately entered the room and introduced himself.

"Good morning everyone. I'm June Florence De Leon, I'm 18 years old, it's my pleasure to meet you all ." he said.

"W-wait, he was the one who bumped into me earlier" I said to Maja and Gabbi with a look of surprise on my face.

"Oh really? maybe he is the one destined for you" Maja said with a teasing tone.

"Oh-my-god, Jea what if, siya na nga ang icing sa ibabaw ng cupcake mo?" Gabbi said pretending to be surprised.

"Shut up girls, that will never happen because he is grumpy and looks like a womanizer" I replied with a bad look at the two, the two didn't say a word and just laughed at me.

"Isn't he the son of the owner of this University?"
"omggg you're handsome Juneeee!!!", "June my sweetheart just sit here next to me!!"
"New crush na naman"
"Oh June is mine!!" shouted my female classmates.

"My June, I missed your presence" I also heard julia say.

"Not gonna lie, he's very handsome," my friend Gabbi said

"I thought it was just Josh, Gab?" Maja said who was also next to Gabbi, Gabbi just looked at her with a look of annoyance, I just laughed at the teasing of my two bestfriends.

"Quiet class, okay Mr. De Leon, there is still a seat available in the middle of Ms. Salvador and Ms. Barretto, you can sit there" said sir and June immediately followed.
