Janella's POV

Recess time
I walked to Maja and Gabbi's room because they are in the same class in their third class but they are not there, maybe they went to the cafeteria first so I quickly went to the cafeteria. when I got there I saw them and they were ordering food.

"Hey you guys are here, I went to your room but you were gone" I said to the two.

"We also went to see you but you weren't there, but we will order your food, sabay na namin" said Maja.

"okay, thank you, you already know what I always order, huh" I said to Maja and Gab

"Yes, but you look for our table, because we haven't found one yet" Gabbi said.

"Oh okay, I'll look for it " I said and went to look for a table, it didn't take long for me to find one, six people can sit here but it's better because there are only three of us, I sat there and waited for them, after a while two of them were already holding the tray where our foods were placed that they ordered and sat down to start eating foods but suddenly Gabbi's boyfriend Joshua came in our direction holding a tray, they have the same last name but they are not related by blood.

"Hi babe, would you mind if we eat here at your table? There are still three seats available, right?" Joshua asked Gabbi, Gabbi looked at Maja and me as if asking for permission, Maja and I just nodded as answer.

"It's okay babe" Gabbi answered.

"Hey guys there are three seats available here, come over here" Joshua called his two companions and Josh sat in front Gabbi, wait, June? sat in front of me, and Mac was in front of Maja while eating, Josh broke the silence.

"Guys, let me introduce you the new student here, this is June, Mac and I have been friends for a long time since he was in America, He is our captain in our football team, the son of the owner of this school. June, this is my girlfriend by the way, gabbi" Josh pointed to Gabbi.

"And this is her friends, Janella and Maja, Janella and Maja are cousins" he pointed to us.

"It's nice to meet you and I'm also happy to have the three of you as my classmates." June said to the three of us.

"We are happy to meet you too" the three of us said to June.

'Gosh, he is the son of Mr. De Leon who owns this University and Medical Hospital and is also a Business Tycoon, why didn't I immediately realize that his last name is De Leon, he is the one the students here are talking about, the son of Mr. De Leon, who will be transferred here from the America' I said in my mind to be realized.

"Guys, since we're in the same last class, do you want us to eat after class before going home? so we can get to know each other better" said Mac.

"Sheeshh, dude, i know you, you are just making a way to be with Maja" Josh teased Mac.

"Shut up bro, don't you want to eat with gabbi again?" Mac asked.

"Okay, sabi ko nga, ano girls? do you want to come with us after school, to eat at the mall? You can also go shopping after we eat, we will join you" Josh asked the three of us.

"I'll let mom know first" said Gabbi holding her phone.

"Me too, wait I'll just text them" Maja said texting tita on the phone.

"I'll just call dad" I said and called him and he immediately answered

"Hi dad" I said on the call

"Hello hija why did you get called, is there a problem?" dad said with a soft tone.

"Uhm dad, we met a new friend, to get to know him properly we will go to the mall and eat there after class, can I come with them? Maja and Gab are with me, as well as Mac and Josh" I said to dad.

"Hey give me your phone" June said in a low voice and I gave it to him.

"Hello uncle, this is June, I am their friend, I am asking for your permission, can Janella come with us?, I'll take care of your daughter, and I'll be the one to bring her to your house" June said to dad.

"Okay hijo, take care of my daughter" I heard dad say on the other line, June gave my phone to me.

"Thanks dad, I'll be careful, iloveyou." I said to dad.

"Okay hija, bye be careful with your friends" he said and I hung up the call.

"Wow June you just met Janella a while ago, malakas kana agad sa dad niya" Joshua said.

"You are different really June, sobrang gentleman!!" said Mac.

'Sus gentleman daw, kanina lang he didn't help me get up when I fell, or when my books fell.' I said in my mind.

"Calm down guys, it's just me" said June smirking at Joshua and Mac. hmp yabang.

"Guys, my parents agreed" said Maja.

"They also agreed" Gab said with an excited tone.

"So guys, let's meet later in the parking lot, let's use my van, don't worry I know how to drive since I was 11 years old in America, so you all have nothing to worry about." said June, June stood up and came to me, he put his mouth close to my ear.

"See you later, I'll tell you something." he whispered and left, I can feel my cheeks getting red, wait? kinikilig ba 'ko? to that grumpy man?

"Oh, why are you sweating and your face is red? you alright, cous?" Maja asked.

"I'm fine, it's just hot here" I said and fanned myself with my hand.

"Mainit? there is air conditioning here in the cafeteria" Gabbi said.

"Ano ba 'yon? pabulong din" Josh said making them laugh.

"Tell me Jea, anong meron sa inyo ni June?" Gabbi said while smirking at me.

"Wala I just met him today, ano ba" they laughed. A few minutes later, the bell rang signaling that class would start again, so we entered their respective classes.

After a few hours, some classes ended, I immediately went to the parking lot, but June was already there and waiting inside his van, he got out and called me.

"Hey Janella, do you want to sit inside while we wait for them?" he asked.

"Uhm sure" I said and he immediately opened the door to the passenger seat for me when I got inside June also entered the driver's seat.
A few seconds ago he broke the silence between the two of us.

"So, you are the one from earlier I bumped into the hallway, uhm sorry for the behavior I showed earlier, I'm just in a really bad mood" he said with a sincere tone, I think I misjudged June, he is a gentleman and not grumpy.

"It's fine. Uhmm, have we met before? you're familiar kasi" I said.

"I don't know, you're also familiar to me but I've been in America since I was 5 years old and I studied there, so I don't know if we've met before." he said seriously.
