Janella's POV

FF (FAST FORWARD)
In my room
"Sis, are you sure na mag kaibigan lang talaga kayo ni kuya June, or is there something between you two?? yieeeeee" Trisha teasingly asked while sitting on the side of my bed.

"Heyy, ano ba, we're just friends nga, kayo nga ni Zaijhan magkaibigan lang daw pero mag ka holding hands kanina sa park eh, gosh, I'll report you to dad, you're falling in love, huh" I teased her back.

"Friends? May magka-ibigan bang nag susubuan ng kwekwek sis? Pero alam mo sa totoo lang bagay na bagay kayo ni kuya June" Trisha smirked at me.

"You know, pumasok kana nga sa room mo, baka may maisako pa 'ko ngayon dito eh" I said and threw my pillow at her, she just laughed.

"Yiieee my big sis is crushing on Mr and Mrs. De Leon's first child, woohhh!!" she teased and left my room.

I couldn't do anything but smile when I remembered what happened earlier in the park and trisha's teasing me just now, wait why am i smiling Do I really have a crush on him? No!! maybe I'm just tired, that's why I think about those things.

"Makapag facebook na nga lang." I whispered and took my phone and lay down on my bed.

June's POV

I went swimming tonight in our pool with my brother Zaijhan, he is also wearing swim trunks.

After I swam, I sat next to my brother who was sitting on the coping of the pool and wading his feet in the water.

"Hey looks like you're thinking too deep right now bro, huh? is it about Chicks?" I said while smirking at him, he just laughed at my behavior.

"Hmm, this is about the girl I just met for the first time, last week I fell in love with her immediately" he replied while smiling.

"So, you are 'love at first sight' with a girl last week?... Ahhhh I think I already know that girl" I said.

"Yes, but I only introduced her to you as my friend and classmate" he replied sadly, I feel sad for him.

"Just wait, give her a time and chance to reciprocate your feelings, you just met her last week, she might be surprised, but I'm sure one day you will be able to introduce her to me, and to mom and dad as your girlfriend, trust me and to yourself, bro" I said to him while smiling.

"Eh kuya, how do you know if a girl likes you too?" he asked me.

"When you feel that she treats you as more than a friend. but don't get your hopes up right away, because sometimes the person you thought sees you as more than a friend, but suddenly you realize that she treats everyone the same way, the way she treats you, take care of your heart bro... I'll just drink first." I said while patting his arm and stood up to take the robe that our maid was holding and I put it on.

"Give me a glass of cocktail please, I want Whiskey Highball and add some ice" I said to a maid.

"Okay, sir Rence" she replied, while waiting I sat on the sun lounger chair and vape while enjoying the fresh cold air, when my phone suddenly rang, signaling that someone was calling.

I looked at the name and it was Julia so I answered.

"Hello Julia, what's wrong, why did you call?" I asked her.

"Nothing, I just miss you, and I still really love you June" she said in a soft voice.

"How many times do I have to tell you that, we're done, whatever we had before is over, since you left me in America, and came home to the Philippines, just for another man?!." I answered her angrily because this is what she has been telling me over and over again since I was about to came back to the Philippines.

"Don't you love me anymore, June?" She asked sadly.

"As a friend." I replied coldly, I heard her sobs. I feel sorry for her but I don't want her to get hurt just for what she wants.

"B-but June, I still love y-you, I regret what I did June please, come back to me, June please" she was crying and begging on the other line.

"I forgave you a long time ago for what you did. I'm sorry, but I can't really give you what you want, Julia, so please stop crying, you can find someone else, there are many other men out there who will love you more than how I loved you before." I said to her.

"I can't love anyone else, you're the only man I can love and I should be the only woman you love." she said and stopped sobbing.

"I love someone else and it's not you, so don't force yourself on me, you're the only one who will be hurt when you force things that can't be returned to before. You know Julia, if you really love me you won't bother me anymore and you will let me love someone else." I explained to her again in a low voice.

"Uhm sir this is your cocktail" said the maid in front of me while holding the tray on which a glass of cocktail was placed, I hung up and took a glass of cocktail.

"Thankyou, you can leave now" I said to her and she immediately followed.

Later I thought of dialing Janella's number that I had asked her earlier before I took Trisha and her to their Mansion from the Park, it rang for a few seconds before she answered.

"Hello J-June" she immediately greeted. that voice, so nice to hear.

"Hi Janella, did I bother you?" I asked.

"Ah, no" she said.

"Did you eat?" I asked.

"Yes, you?" she answered.

"Good then, I'm done eating" I said smiling.

"Tomorrow is Monday, see you again my new classmate" she said cheerfully.

"See you clumsy." I answered.

"Gosh, clumsy?, you just don't really looking at what you're passing by, hmpp." she answered gruffly which made me laugh suddenly.

Awh, she's cute when she's annoyed.

"Just kidding, Ms. Salvador, go to bed, it's time to sleep we're going to the university tomorrow, let's go together, huh?" I said.

"Yes, let's go together" she answered on the other line, "I'll chat you when I'm already outside your mansion" I said.

"Alright, go to sleep" she replied.

"Yes my dear queen, you too" I teased, "queen?, yesterday princess, what's next?" she asked laughing.

"baby" I whispered.

"what did you say?" she asked.

It's a good thing she's deaf now.

"A-ah, nothing, I said go to sleep" I laughed and answered.

"Tsk, oo na, good night" she said in a sleepy tone.

"Good night, sweet dreams." I said to her

"Bye." was her last answer before she hung up.
