My Former Love

Chapter 5

Janella's POV

When the food we ordered arrived, we ate without saying a word the only thing you could hear was the clinking of spoons and forks, and after eating, dad and tito continued talking about their Business Plan and June he was quietly using his cell phone in front of me, I couldn't help but look at his handsome face, until now I still can't believe he's back here, I'm glad because it was worth it for me to wait a few years for him, but unlike before we were very close to each other, but that's okay, the important thing is that he's back.

I came back to reality when the phone rang and it was tito Chris's phone so he immediately took it out of his pocket.

"Excuse me, I'll just answer it" said tito before answering the phone and leaving the restaurant.

Dad turned his gaze to June and smiled at him.

"So hijo, do you have a girlfriend? Or are you courting someone?" dad asked.

"Not yet tito Ric, but here I saw again the girl I loved before" June said.

So he loved someone here before, I don't know why my chest suddenly hurts.

'Why do I feel pain?' I said in my mind.

"Oh, that girl is very lucky" dad said happily.

"I'm the lucky one for her, tito" said June and turned his gaze to me and smiled so I forced myself to smile back at him.

"It looks like you really loved that girl before until now" said dad and smiled.

"Too much, tito. Since then until now." June replied and smiled too.

Even though I felt a pain in my chest, that pain was somewhat relieved because of his soft laugh.

'Gosh, his laugh is good to hear, it sounds like you're listening to romantic music... Omg, what was I thinking?' I said in my mind.

When tito got back to the restaurant he approached dad "Hey Amigo, we need to do the business plan right now, so come on?" said tito Chris and they looked at me and June.

"Okay let's go, do you want us to take you to the mansion first, hijo?, hija?" dad asked.

"Uh, dad, tito, thank you but mauna na po kayo, it might take a long time for you two to go to business, we know that's important so we understand" I said to tito Chris and dad.

"She's right dad and tito Ric, you go first" June said.

"Okay, Florence, take care of your tito's princess, huh" said tito Chris with a laugh that made dad and June laugh too.

"Of course dad, don't worry, I'll take care of my princess, be careful, bye" June said laughing.

"Your princess, huh" dad said teasingly.

"We're leaving, bye" said tito Chris as he and dad were leaving the restaurant.

"Bye dad, bye tito Chris, be careful" I said and they just waved. and when they finally left, June suddenly looked at me.

"After a few years we were separated from each other, finally we met again" june said happily.

"Yes, I thought we would never see each other again" I said.

"Like I said before, I will come back" June said in a baritone tone.

FLASHBACK Thirteen Years Ago

Now my friend Rence is leaving, he will live and study in america. I was sad because I might not be able to play or be with him again.

I thought of going out and saying goodbye to him.
