CLAY'S POV:

"Clayyy!" Nick shouts from across the house.

I let out a tired groan and grab a pillow, covering my ears to block out the noise. I just got back from work and all I want is some sleep. But it seems like my roommate has different plans.

It's been two years since I quit streaming, and honestly, I feel amazing. Despite the exhaustion from my restaurant job, mentally I'm in a much better place. It's surprising how much not being on social media can impact your life.

I'm proud of Sapnap for continuing to stream even after I quit. He was hesitant at first because he didn't want to remind me of what happened that led me to a breakdown. But I convinced him to keep going. If streaming makes him happy, he should stick with it. I only want the best for him.

Nick has been incredibly supportive and never pushed me to go back to streaming. He asks about it sometimes and if I'm thinking of posting YouTube videos again, but I always tell him that only time will tell. While I miss streaming and being on social media, I'm afraid of falling back into sadness.

I always remind myself that if being a content creator is meant for me, it will happen. I really miss it - the fans and having fun with friends.

"Wakey wakey!" Nick walks into the room, opens the blinds, and lets the sunset rays stream in.

"Leave me alone!" I groan, covering my face with a blanket and rolling my eyes.

"We're gonna find you a girl, and you're gonna get laid," Sapnap says sarcastically. That's the last thing I expected him to say.

"You're out of your mind. Right now, all I need is three weeks of sleep," I reply, turning away from the last bits of sunlight and closing my eyes.

"Come on, man. I'm serious. We never go out anymore," Nick says, sounding genuinely sad now.

I immediately feel guilty and roll my eyes again. "I won't be rushed into anything with girls I don't want anything with," I set my boundaries and look at him.

Sapnap nods. "Okay, I promise. But we're gonna get drunk, though."

I pause for a moment, realizing I quit my job just a few hours ago. Nobody knows about it yet.

"You got yourself a deal." I smile and get out of bed, rubbing my eyes.

"You awe witterly a king. Be weady in ten." Nick says in a baby voice before leaving the room.

I'm not sure when I'm going to tell him about the job yet, but it's definitely not going to be right now.

I take a quick shower and put on some cargo pants, a black shirt, white Air Forces, and some rings that I think make my hands look hot. I spray some cologne on my neck and wrists and then I'm ready to go.

We obviously drive to the bar with our motorcycles which is a stupid idea, because we're about to get drunk.

"Oh, I forgot to mention that Punz, Karl, and some of their other friends are going to be there," Nick says before we enter the bar. I nod with approval, excited to see my friends after a long time.

We enter.

"Clayyyyyyyyy!" Karl yells as he runs towards me.

The stage is alive with a band playing their hearts out, while the stunning light show illuminates the entire room. The dazzling lights dance to the beat of the music, creating an electric atmosphere that fills the entire space.
