GEORGE'S POV:

I slide the keys into the ignition and turn the car on, feeling the engine come to life. The sound of the engine gives me a momentary sense of freedom and escape.

Carefully, I drive my way out of the driveway, but as I reverse, I accidentally bump into the trash cans. I can't help but burst into laughter at the stupidity of the situation. Who on earth put those cans there?

Ignoring the bumped trash cans, I continue driving down the street, trying my best to keep the car in a relatively straight line. I don't have much experience with driving since I don't have a driver's license, but so far, I think I'm doing alright.

I continue driving, successfully getting out of the city. I find myself on a dimly lit and uneven road, with very few cars in sight. It's a peaceful and detached drive, with only the occasional glimmer of streetlights to light up the road.

As my hands grip the steering wheel tightly, a sudden jolt of panic rushes through me as I lose control of the car. Time seems to slow down as I feel the car swerving off the road, the tires skidding and screeching against the gravel. My heart pounds in my chest, and a wave of fear washes over me as the car begins to spiral down a steep hill, the world spinning around me in a blur.

I don't want to die.
