CLAY'S POV:

2 months later

It's been two months since George, Tommy, and Wilbur left.

I'm not sure if George is always like this through text, but recently he seems distant. It's been around a month since I last heard his voice, and I'm starting to wonder if he's still interested in me. We've only been texting, and I miss the deeper connection we used to have.

I've been asking him if something is wrong, and he always insists that everything is fine. However, deep down, I have a feeling that something is holding him back from getting closer to me. He mentioned that the distance between us is a challenge, but I can't shake the suspicion that there might be more to it than just that.

While sitting at my desk, listening to Karl and Nick arguing over Discord while playing Minecraft, a sudden urge to start streaming overwhelms me.

"Guys," I interrupt Nick and Karl's flirting.

After Nick admitted his feelings for Karl and I encouraged him to share them, they went on a date. They're not officially boyfriends yet, but there's definitely a connection between them.

I feel ignored, so out of frustration, I make the impulsive decision to kill both of them in the game.

"Now why would you do that?!" Karl exclaims in anger, while Nick is screaming and desperately trying to escape from me.

I eventually catch up to Nick and successfully kill him as well. After the intense moment, they both calm down and finally start to listen to what I have to say.

"So I was thinking..." I begin, but before I can continue, Karl interrupts me.

"You were? That's new." He chuckles, joined by Nick's laughter.

I roll my eyes in response. "Well, believe it or not, I actually think. And today, I've decided that I'm going to stream."

Their laughter stops abruptly, and they both turn their Minecraft characters towards me, their virtual eyes fixated on my green character.

"Is this some kind of a prank?" Nick asks, his in-game character slowly approaching mine.

"No, I'm serious. I don't want to make a big announcement or anything. I just want people to go about their lives and receive a Twitch notification that I'm streaming," I explain.

"When do you wanna do it?" Karl asks as Nick tries to calm himself down.

"At around nine?" I suggest. I'm not sure because I want it to be a good time, so George can watch.

"Yeah, nine sounds good. It's a good time for viewers in Europe," Karl agrees.

"What will you stream?" Nick finally asks.

"I was thinking about just running around in a Minecraft world while explaining where I've been for the past two years and a half. Then I'll chat with viewers and answer their questions before ending the stream." I explain my plan, checking the time. It's six o'clock, so I have three hours until I start streaming after a two-year break.

"I'm proud of you," Nick says with a hint of pride in his voice. I can practically hear the smile on his face.

"Yeah, dude, congrats!" Karl exclaims as he playfully starts hitting my character in Minecraft.

I quickly log out of the game, so Karl can't kill me. "I'll take a break and rest for a bit," I say, saying goodbye to them before leaving the voice chat.
