Someone barged into my office with so much energy that I almost had a heart attack, I turned to Amy and she was still asleep. Thank god. The person switched on the lights and gasped, switching it off again.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't think you'd be naked", Mia said then rushed out making me chuckle. I got up and found some clothes and a throw blanket and covered Amy as I went to listen to the so-called friend of mine. I walked out while running my hand through my face hoping to get myself back together and my eyes landed on Val and Mia giggling.

"What?", I asked with my hands on my waist. "Is that who I think it is?", Mia asked. "Well yeah, it's not like I have a lot of women that I want to have sex with now do I?", I asked making them smile. "I'm happy for you", Valerie said making me do a playful salute. "Let me get dressed then we'll go", I said and they nodded while sitting on an empty table, making sure not to get in the way of the cleaning crew.

"Amy... baby... Mia and Valerie are here, wanna say hi to them?", I whispered in her ear but she didn't even move. Must have rocked her world to the max, how awesome is that? I wrote a note, telling her where I went and for her to wait for me then got dressed in my jogging clothes and joined my comrades. "Buying fish from the ferry is the best decision you've ever brought to the table Liam", Valerie praised making me smile. "I am the best at what I do you know", i said making her and Mia roll their eyes at me as we left the restaurant.

Valerie and I are at a great place. I no longer see her as more than a friend and I think the dilemma that Amy pulled on me was enough to push me over the edge. The constant need to have Amy right next to me and knowing that I couldn't because I messed things up. All I can say is, you don't know what you have until you lose it.

In the past year, all I was obsessed with was Amaryllis. Tate was starting to get worried thinking that I needed rehab but man, that was the least of my problems. I called Mia and Val at Joe's and told them what happened and the reason and also told them the decision I made to leave the cafeteria. I was happy that they supported me so now, we have a routine of meeting once a week for fish shopping, if that's a thing.

"This is amazing, we got everything before the queue got big", Val said as we signed the delivery papers ready for them to load in their delivery truck. "Definitely, you guys should swing by for breakfast", I suggested and they looked at each other. "Do you think that's a good idea?", Mia asked looking at Valerie and I got the idea. "Ok then, I'll ease her into it", i said then we parted ways. When I got back I went straight to the kitchen and made a fruit salad and English breakfast and took it to my office where I found her sitting on the sofa bed with her eyes on the garden.

"Good morning", i said startling her. "Good morning", she said with a smile as I put the tray on the sofa bed. "This looks amazing", she said taking a piece of green grape and putting it in her tiny mouth. "Mmmnh", she said with her eyes closed and her neck stretched backward exposing hickies all over her neck to shoulders.

"Where are the girls?", she asked and I looked at her like she grew two heads. "What?", "I thought you didn't hear me", I said. "I did, I just chose sleep over you. Did you get to the ferry on time?", she asked and I smiled. "You're weird", i said making her laugh. "Choosing sleep after having the best night of your life is not weird at all", she said then sipped her coffee.

"It was wasn't it?", I teased making her roll her cute grey eyes at me. "Well they left for the cafeteria", I said and she huffed. "I really wanted to say hi, now they'll think I'm holding grudges", she said surprising me. "Why would they think that?", I asked. "Well because of the whole love triangle thing", she said and I gave her a weak smile.

"They hate me, don't they? Is that why they didn't stay", she asked looking worried. "No, Mia and Val just think that we should focus on us until you're comfortable being in the same room with her and me. I kinda told them what happened and why you dumped me so... yeah", I said and she reached for my hand. "Liam, I'm here and I've chosen to trust you. If you say that you guys are friends then I believe you. I promise you that baby", she said and I nodded. "Thank you, Amy, I know I don't deserve you but I'll do whatever I can until I earn your trust again", I said and we went back to eating.

"So you're gonna renovate the whole place?", I asked when she said she wanted to renovate her house. "Yes, I want to modernize the interior only though. The outside is amazing as it is and if I do anything it will be just the paint job", she said looking like she was calculating something in her head.

"That's good. How long will that take though?", I asked hoping that she didn't pick up on where I was heading with the conversation. "Well, I don't know yet, two or three months I guess", she said then ate the last apple making me smile. "What?", she asked making my smile even bigger. "Well, you can always crash at my apartment if you want. I moved out of the studio. I have a three-bedroom apartment now", I suggested and her eyes landed on mine.

"Finally an actual apartment", she cheered. When I didn't answer she toned it down. "Won't that be too much?", she asked nervously. "Too much is spending a fortune on an indoor garden full of your girlfriend but not this", i said making her laugh. It was nice seeing her happy.

Amy was freshening up in the bathroom that I had in my office when there was a knock on the door. I went and opened and it was Mason letting me know he had arrived. "Is that a woman's underwear?", he asked peaking behind me. I pushed him out and then closed the door. Amy walked out of the bathroom looking sexy in a towel. Her curves were bigger and it did things to me. "Stop staring and help me find my panties", she demanded and I went for the panties and threw them at her as I went to take a shower too.
