Olympus + Katiya
The goddess of the moon paced back and forth anxiously as she awaits her fathers presence, she's only been called once before and that was to place the curse she has upon her now, to never really be with her love.
So this hall has bad memories for her. With a loud boom, Zeus appears before her, and the god who normally looks all big and mighty, looks weak and feeble and she can only hope this has nothing to do with Apollo. "Katiya, there is much to discuss, have a seat." His voice booms throughout the hall and she hurriedly runs to the chair in front of him, not wanting to stay any longer than necessary.
"My lord." She bows deeply, and she fights off the tears that wants to desperately fall, she's his only child who has to address him so formerly, it's just another kick to her already low self esteem that comes with being apart of this family.
"Apollo has gone awry, and with The God coming, it has put us in a bit of a situation." Zeus briefly explains and Katiya heart sink at the subtle accusation in his tone.
"I fail to see what that has to do with me, my lord." She keeps her voice low, her eyes trained on his nose, and her posture stiff.
"I don't know why the fates put such a dumb girl in charge of the night and all the creatures with in it," Zeus sneers and Katiya bristles at his tone, "obviously I want you to talk him down, now is not the time for gods and goddesses to be going awry."
"No." Katiya states simply, and anger flashes across Zeus' face.
"What do you mean no?" He hisses, narrowing his eyes at her now confident form.
"I mean no, why would I help someone who constantly belittles me and who is the cause of the problem we have today? If you didn't interfere with the love Apollo and I share then this wouldn't be happening, but you're a selfish god and I hope with everything in me that when The God gets here, he takes away that power you have and make you a wood nymph." She hisses back and stands from the chair she was sitting in.
She makes her way to the door, ignoring the angry shouts trailing behind her as she does. Katiya quickly makes her way to her chambers, waiting for her light to shine on her. She needs him so bad right now.
The moment Apollo appeared she threw herself into his arms and sobbed softly. "What's the matter, my love?" He asks, placing gentle kisses along her neck and she snuggles further into his embrace.
"I-I stood up to Zeus today," she whispers softly and he gasps softly, "I think he might retaliate against me, he was shouting the most obscene curses at me." Her voice shakes at the end and Apollo feels that familiar burning anger wash over him.
"He did what!" He hisses, narrowing his eyes and pulling his wife further into his arms. He feels so useless right now, but Zeus better watch his back, there's no way he's going to get away with talking about his wife in such a way.
"It's okay, you know I've always been a bit sensitive." She tries to play it off, but one look from Apollo had her looking away in shame, she knows not to lie to him, especially when it pertains to her feelings.
"It's okay, sweet girl, I'm going to take care of this." Apollo whispers soothingly against her skin, and then she begins to slip away, wishing that for once the moon wouldn't rise tonight. Katiya needed Apollo more then ever now, and if she was a truly selfish being, she would've been told him to stay with her, so they will always be together, but she refuses to be the reason that Earth fails.
"I love you." She whispers against his lips and before he can respond she's gone, taking his heart with her.
...
Apollo storms towards the sitting room, knowing that's where Zeus and the other gods will be at. "Have you lost your mind?!" Apollo shouts, causing all talking to stop and for all eyes to land on him.
"Apollo, come and join us." Zeus says, hoping to steer the conversation away from Katiya. That little bitch told on me.
"You will not go to my wife again, if I hear you summoned her or if I hear you even speak her name, I will do what I promised and you think what I'm doing now is bad, what I have planned will make this seem like a walk in the park." The dark aura around Apollo has Zeus shrinking in his seat slightly. "That goes for all of you, from here on out, anyone who has something to say about Katiya, means they want war with me."
"You aren't really going to cause war on some nobody, Apollo?" Aphrodite speaks up, cackling after her sentence.
Apollo wraps his hand around her slender throat and she sobers up instantly. "For the goddess of love, you're a very hateful person." He whispers condescendingly to her. "That nobody you're talking about is my wife, and the only reason you still live, I can't for the life of me figure out why she wants to protect y'all. I wouldn't if y'all treated me how you treat her."
"What do you mean by that?" Hephaestus asks, his gruff voice booming in the hall, as he looks unbothered that his wife is currently being choked.
"I mean, if I could I would've destroyed Olympus and anyone who stands in my way of being with my wife, but she refuses to allow me to do so, if you need further information ask the all powerful Zeus, I know you weren't here for the last meeting." Apollo finally drops Aphrodite onto the marble floor and walks out of the sitting room, hearing Hephaestus' roar of anger.
