Chapter 28

Katiya+Apollo+Olympus

Katiya storms through the halls of Olympus. It was one thing to mess with her, but to mess with her creations, to go after her daughter that's where she draws the line.

"My moon." Apollo greets her at the entrance hall, and Katiya sighs into his embrace. "Tell me what is troubling you."

"Zeus tried to kill her." Katiya whisper's heartbroken. "His own granddaughter and he wanted her dead."

Apollo seethes in anger and he storms into the room, bypassing all the shocked faces from the gods and goddesses. "How dare you?!" Apollo shouts, quickly bringing the room to a terrifying darkness. "You go after my child?!"

"W-what are you t-talking about?" Zeus stutters nervously, but inside he's seething.

"What is with you trying to tear my family apart? Have I not given you everything and this one thing I ask for, this one thing I crave you can't even let me have it." He snaps, and his hand grips the throat of the mighty king.

"Why do you hate me, father?" Katiya asks, no one breathes as her question rings through the hall. "I don't know what I've done, but I've spent years making up for it and I'm done, Apollo do what you must to make sure our family stays together." Then she walks away, ignoring the shouts and threats behind her.

"Zeus, you really fucked up this time." Apollo says, his voice is low and it cause shivers to run up the kings spine.

"Would someone like to explain what is going on?" A booming voice causes everyone to still in fear.

"God." They say in unison, Apollo still has his hands wrapped around his neck and he quickly explains what has been happening.

"When I gave you the power to rule the gods and goddesses of Olympus, it was because I thought you were a fair ruler, a sensible man, but it has come to my attention you are not. I am quite fond of Apollo, and I would hate it if my son is upset." God sneers, causing Zeus to shrink further into himself.

"Y-your son?" He mumbles confused.

"You never questioned how Apollo arrived in Olympus?" God tilts his head to the side. "I would've made him ruler, but he refuse and like the good father I am, I allowed him to do what it is he saw fit."

"I'm sorry, my lord." Zeus pleads, but he holds his hand up, stopping him from speaking another word.

"I've been watching how you rule this kingdom and quite frankly I'm disgusted. This curse you put upon my son and his family will be released now." God demands and Zeus hurriedly does so. "You're lucky I don't kill you, but I will be stripping you of your powers and you will be made an Echo, heard but never seen, always having to repeat the words of someone else."

"My lord, please." Zeus begs and God shakes his head.

"You shall stay that way for a century and if I feel you have changed we will discuss how to move forward later." God waves his hand and Zeus is escorted out of the meeting hall, kicking and screaming by God's angels.

"Thank you Father." Apollo bows deeply, before gathering his father into a hug.

"You're welcome, my boy, now where's your wife and my granddaughter, I have a lot of shit talking to catch up on." He chuckles cheerfully.

"Dad, please don't." Apollo follows behind him with a whine.

"No can do son, what kind of father am I if I don't tell your wife all the embarrassing things you've done in your lifetime, wait until your mother gets here." God waves over his shoulder, before he hears a squeal.

"Apollo." His mother squeals, wrapping him tightly in her arms and bouncing slightly.

"Hey mom." He laughs at her excitement, she's always been a bundle of joy and he can't wait until Katiya meets his parents.

"Are we going to go embarrass Apollo in front of his lady now?" Apollo's mom, Gaia asks and his father nods.

Katiya is bombarded slightly when they rush into the room and she bows deeply. "God, Mother." She greets awkwardly, giving Apollo a confused look.

"Please call me Gaia." She squeals pulling her into a hug. "Did Apollo ever tell you about the time he fell through the clouds after chasing Michael, his brother?" Gaia gets right into it, earning a loud groan from her son, and a loud chuckle from her husband.

"I don't think he has." Katiya replies a mischievous grin on her face.

"Don't encourage her, my love."
