Awake (Argos)

I fell asleep on my chair when looking after Mr Plant
as he is very hurt.

In my sleep, dreaming no dreams, I felt a hand on my lap.

I slowly woke up, not thinking straight because I was just sleeping.

"H-huh?" I said to myself, in a small bit of confusion.

I yawned and stretched.

I opened my eyes and looked at the hand, then looking up the arm and soon on the bed, where Mr Plant was putting his hand on my lap.

"Mr Plant?"

Mr Plant nodded in response.

"Oh thank goodness you are alright!" I sobbed, taking his and hand off of my lap and into my hands.

"I am going to make some green tea, you can sit up but please don't stand."

I got up from the chair and paused.

Mr Plant sat up, slowly stretching then turned to me, tilted his head in confusion of why I wasn't moving.

I leaned over Mr Plant, I put my hand on his head.

Then I kissed Mr Plant on his forehead.

I left the room and then moved down the stairs and to the kitchen.

I poured water into the kettle and set it to boil.

"W-why did I do that?" I muttered into my hands, covering my face in embarrassment of what I had done.

"I- I mean, it wasn't bad and I liked it, but I don't know about what Mr Plant had thought. It was like I stopped thinking."

"Maybe it was like a get well soon gift?"

I didn't know what to do.

The kettle is finished boiling.

I brought some tea up to Mr Plant who still seemed confused but yet flattered by what I had done.

"I am going to call Blossom so she can come and pick you up, the storm has calmed down!"

Mr Plant snapped back into reality and nodded to what I had said.

I walked down stairs and I picked up the phone.

"Hello, is this Blossom?"

"Ohhhh~~~ Well it's so nice to talk to you Argos~ what do you need?"

"Mr Plant is inside my house and has just woken up from after his injuries have been healed. Can you come and pick him up?"

"Oh my! Yes yes, I know about that the storm but I didn't know boss got hurt! Is he now okay?"

"Yes he is, so don't worry."

We keep on talking then I heard Mr Plant coming down stairs.

"Okay, well I will pick him up!"

"Okay thanks Blossom, see you soon. Like I said, I am in void 213"

"Right! Bye bye!"

"Bye!"

I hang up the phone, and I was about to turn around when I felt arms around my waist, and a head on mine.

"Mr Plant, I told you not to leave the bedroom! Hehe... you dummy!"

Mr Plant didn't move, as if he was still half asleep.

We sat on the couch and Mr Plant pointed to the book case.

"Oh the book case? You were out from Wednesday to today! Friday!"

Mr Plant quickly turned his head to me then grabbed the couch.

"Let's wait until Blossom here!"

Mr Plant nodded and got into a comfortable position and I leaned on him.
