Misty red rain.

I skipped my way to the main entrance. Seeming like a child on their way home from the park.

I looked over the edge of the railing looking over to the bottom floor, where my way out is. I am on the top floor, I can see all.

Like the ones we call 'gods.'

Those 'gods' have never done anything for anyone other than make new voids.

If 'gods' were really a thing in these voids... then why?

Why
Did
They
Let
That
Happen
All
Those
Years
Ago?

Whilst I was thinking such... obviously absurd thoughts, especially in the mind of others. I heard a gunshot.

"OVER THERE!"
"AFTER HER!"
"DON'T LET HER LEAVE ALIVE!"
"SHE HAS KILLED MANY OF OUR MEN!"

I looked over the balcony, with one leg in the air like a little kid.

There were so many soldiers on the bottom floor.

I looked over at the different people for a few seconds before I heard a voice...

That...

That man's dreaded voice...

His sinful angelic voice...

"After her. Let no one of her group leave alive. As for Jackie... forget my order. Kill Jackie on the spot as well." The man said coldly.

I leaned over the railing more, almost crushing my lungs with how much pressure I was putting on them.

I slowly sighed and moved myself away from the railing, taking my long ear into my hand, slowly flowing over my hand like hair.

I let my ear go again, and picked up my synth scythe that I didn't even remember dropping on the floor.

I stumbled back to my feet, losing balance as I was losing my mind...

I have never been on a mission before...

"Why did I have to meet him on my first mission...?"

My breath was shaking, and my muttering of unheard words made me sound if I was going to cry.

My legs were shaking uncontrollably, buckling underneath my chest that was going up and down frantically.

I took a sharp breath, then a longer, gentler one as I slowly got out of my panic attack.

I straightened my legs and chest, which helped lift up my head.

I gripped my scythe with my left hand, and a pocket clock that Jackie gave to me before she left. I hadn't realised that she did.

I ran to the next hallway, then the next, then the next, then the next... then the next... then the next... then the next...

"Am I looping? No no no... I would have seen an anomaly sign and a mirror, definitely, if I was actually looping."

As I said that, I took a left and saw a staircase going down with guard on it.

I took my scythe, and ran forward. Blood washed over me like a misty, warm rain as it gushed from the freshly cut necks of the enemy's.

I walked down the stairs, stepping over the rolling heads. I didn't bother taking my prize.

The front door wasn't guarded, mostly because they probably thought that we wouldn't go there because we aren't stupid.

But, since we really aren't stupid, we knew what they thought and took an action not expected.

I took the handle and opened the door, and took a step out into the heavy rain. The mud squishing underneath my bare feet.

I sighed and looked up at the sky, who was washing away my blood filled sins.

"I do wonder now, how will this change us? Will I become more of an assassin than a maid? Will Jackie take on a new body?

Will Master Diamond take back the name of Master Blossom, and Lady Blossom go back to Lady Diamond?"

I pondered this when I heard stamping in front of me.

"Heh... I guess I can stop thinking of her now, and focus on battle... I love murder as much as the next Master."
