And just then she had received a notification from Hyein.

Hyein was also pretty sad to hear the news, I mean she did also have a thing for Danielle and she never really had gotten to the apology that she hadn't planned. It was only after Danielle's death that she truly felt sorry. Danielle now left the word with a negative idea of Hyein and for that, Hyein was sorry.

The following day, Haerin got out of bed to go to school (finally).

She was gonna meet with friends and unfortunately get asked a few questions multiple times but it was better now then later and she was really to face it all.

"GOOOD MORNING MINJI!" She galloped down the hall and swung her bag into the locker.

Minji gave her one of those 'Minji-smiles' and then a much-wanted hug.

"Thank you" she whispered as she full-heartedly hugged Minji. Deep down inside she wasn't truly satisfied and Minji was a person who could easily tell that from the outside.

Minji looked into her eyes, making sure Haerin's mind was with her, "you are loved. and you will still be loved. And... Danielle still loves you and she wants you to be happy. I'm sure that right now she is gazing down from the heavens, admiring your beauty. She would want you to smile and continue to bring goodness to this world."

Minji and Haerin walked together to find Hanni.

Hanni, being a close friend of Danielle's (even more than Minji because if you remember in the start of the book that I did months ago they were besties before the friendship groups merged) was especially sad about her death. When she saw Haerin, her eyes just filled with tears. And she cried on her(Haerin's) shoulder.

"Hey, you could also cry on my shoulder if you want..." Minji teased Hanni as they were in a relationship.

Minji came in for a group hug, "sorry about everything you have to go through... you know Danielle died thinking of you."

Haerin joined Hanni's tears and together they were just making Minji more and more wet.

"What are they crying for?" some girl whispered to her friend as they walked past.

Minji noticed and she could have defended herself but she realized it was a fair thing to think and all she wanted right now was peace, plus... she didn't really care.

During Math, Haerin got a message that she secretly took;

Hello Haerin, I am terribly sorry for telling you about Danielle and getting you eliminated (basically)... I just wanted to let you know that the managers thought you were really lovely and you have a lot of potential so we would love you have you back, I understand that you will still be recovering from a big loss, so we'll give you 2 months for you to call back. xoxo -Mary (the secretary)

Now obviously this was in Korean but since we are in Korea... everything in Korea is English because you don't deserve the pain of seeing translated text in every speech quotation.

'Actually Mary unnie, you shouldn't be sorry.. I needed to see and I'm glad to be back for the funeral.' Haerin thought before turning her focus back to the Math teacher.

During Break...

A few kids asked Haerin about Danielle because the school literally made a memorial for her and she wasn't at school today so... . Haerin still felt very blessed and grateful to have such great classmates even though this could be annoying.

There was lot of flowers and the memorial was very beautiful too.

If you were thinking that the story didn't live up to it's name, well... that's not true, you see; the book cover (of this book)  was referring to the letter that Haerin wrote to Danielle. You do remember how it blew away? Right?

That afternoon, Haerin arrived back from school and there was a letter in the fence. "Huh?" she laughed, and removed the letter. 'Sana should have already taken this.' she thought, considering Sana was the maid and the letter could have blown away if it hadn't been attended to. Sana has a job to quickly remove letters from a fence.

She opened the letter, but surprised to find her name at the top. 

"Dear Haerin,

Thank you. There's no more that I could say, I'm grateful for everything you've done. Be yourself and be happy, it was an honor living beside you and having the opportunity to meet a person like you. If only I could still kiss you and say goodbye. I'll be watching over you and your future relationships. Live long and happily. I LOVE YOU.

Haerin stood there and read.

She turned around to look for the somebody to see if they were hiding in the bush or something. Maybe it was a prank from some other kid... OR Maybe Danielle dropped it off recently and was hiding in the bushes.

She felt intense staring as if there was someone behind her that very instant.

But there wasn't.

"Thank you Danielle, my love." She whispered into the paper.

And a warm breeze washed over her body.

She looked around one last time and for almost a split second, she saw Danielle's pale face standing right behind her.

From a 3rd person's perspective this would have looked like a lost little Haerin at a post box and her bag. Standing there for an odd number of minutes. The lost girl stared into the nothing for a few seconds and hugged the air. Truly going insane is what people would think of this if they were to watch it happen.

Haerin shed a tear but then it was wiped off her face, but not by her. It was truly a miracle. She was communicating with an angle, is what that felt like.

Haerin sat down, right outside her house. Smiling at the floor and laughing (occasionally)... 

All her fun ended when the main gate opened for her and Sana came rushing out to give her a hug and welcome her in. "Goodness child, come in!" 

Haerin was dragged back inside, constantly looking back.

Although from the girl's perspective she could see a hollow Danielle disappearing and fading away. 

Would she ever see here again? Spoiler, no. No she did not.

This was the last and final greeting of her beloved Danielle.
