"WHAT ABOUT A DEMIGOD?" LYDIA suggested, showing them the book page. the girls skimmed over the pages, reading about the children of gods mixed with any species of supernatural beings. "yeah, it could be possible" she spoke after reading, walking to her whiteboard on the wall. the had written 'possibilities' at the top.

she wrote down "demigod" and added to the list. so far, they had phoenix, nephilim, seraphim, and now demigod. the girls watched as she looked at the list, one arm across herself and the other upwards. her hand covered her mouth as she thought to herself. both girls looked at each other, a look in between them. she literally looked like stiles when he was solving something on his own crime board.

"have you tried asking-"

"no. and i don't want to. i can do this without him." mariana immediately shut down. she went back to the book on her desk, going back to reading the pages. they researched for hours then eventually got bored and had an actual fun sleep over. it was now the next day and the girls spent the whole morning continuing with their research.

as mariana read through the pages, she stopped when she came across a new creature. and it reminded her of the girl that was currently in her room. "hey lyds" she called out, making both girls' head look up at her. "you always describe your powers as death right? like it's what you're surrounded by?"

"uh yeah why?"

"check this out" she said, making her way to her bed with them. "a banshee is said to be a fairy in irish legend and her scream is believed to be an omen of death" she read. "you do scream a lot" allison commented, earning a look from the strawberry blonde. "yeah but never a blood shrieking scream" she countered. "but it could be a possibility. it'd never hurt to to try to figure out what you are"

"but we're not here for me, we're here for you" lydia told her. "yeah and we're getting nowhere" she sighed. "you know who may actually know more than us?" the huntress questioned.

"i need your help." the emissary turned around, facing mariana parker. "i was wondering when you'd come" the girl walked into the room, showing deaton a page on the beastiary. the legend of the quadbrid. "i'm not stupid, i pinpointed it the second i opened the book."

"you are quite the intelligent girl"

"deaton." she warned. she wasn't in the mood to make small talk. she need answers and she need them now. "do you trust me?" the girls faced contoured into one of confusion. "what?"

"do you trust me?" he repeated in the same manner. the girl hesitated. then she came
to her senses. "yes" she answered with a nod. the man motioned to the two chair placed near the corner of the room they stood in. she walked to a chair, watching as the man followed. once they sat. he looked her straight in the eye.
