        Alexander's pov:

I was working alone one night, hadn't slept, my wife was off at her fathers with our children. The I heard a knock at my door. "One moment!" I yell as I stand up from my desk and stretch. I grogley walk to the door to meet the eyes of Ms. Maria Reynolds. "Can I help you?.." I asked her as she looks at me slightly sad looking. "Excuse me sir but can you possibly walk me home I'm afraid of what may happen to me.."

I smile at her. "Of corse. Let me grab my coat." I go back to my office to grab my coat and walk back to her locking the door behind me as she starts walking towards her house. "I'm sorry to bother you so late in the evening" she apologizes. "It's no problem, if I may ask what were you doing out so late anyways" "oh I was visiting a friend." She said looking at the sidewalk infront of her.

"Well this one's mine sir..." she looked at me before taking my hand and leading me inside. "Please stay sir.." "I- I can't I'm sorry I just it's late and I really need to get home.." she moves closer to me running her hand on my chest. "Oh please sir.." she slightly begs. "I'm sorry- I-I have to go. I quickly walk towards the door and start to walk home. (Ha! You thought he was gonna give in. Well surprise!)

                  Thomas's pov:

I thought I should speak with Alexander since the cabinet meeting was pretty brutal. I had asked Washington for his address. I walked up to his door and knocked. No answer. I knocked again. No answer. "Well it is quite late.. he's probably asleep.. I shouldn't bother him." I thought and started to walk away.

"Jefferson?.." I heard a voice from behind me say. I turn around to see Hamilton walking towards me from the opposite direction. "What're you doing here?" He says catching his breathe. "I-uh-um I-uh wanted to talk to you about something." I stuttered slightly walking towards him. "Oh uh.. come in I guess" he said walking up to the door and unlocked it.

I took a slight glance up and his eyes which shimmered in the moonlight. "Fuck his eyes are pretty.." I thought. We walked up to his office. "Would you like any tea or coffee or anything." He said glancing at me. "Uhm no thanks I really don't want to bother you more than I have to" I laughed nervously. "It's alright I have to make myself some coffee anyways. Are you sure you don't want anything?" He said looking me in the eyes. "Uh I guess I'll take some tea if it's not to much of a hassle" I look away. I've never been good with eye contact. "Alright I'll be back in a minute." He smiles before walking into the downstairs.

I look around his office. He had a bulletin board over his desk. A lot of the letters were from his wife or sister in law, But one in particular I recognized. It was mine. The letter I had sent him before I even came to America. I smiled and softly laughed. I looked around some more. I noticed a picture on the wall was slightly tilted so I tried to fix it but I wasn't able to quite reach it. I stood on my tippy toes trying to reach it but slipped. I fell and hit my head a a shelf that was behind me. "Ow.." I rubbed my head. (Yes I know this man was literally 6'2 and 1/2 but Idgaf. He couldn't reach the picture cause I said so.)

          Alexander's pov:

I heard a loud thud from upstairs I assumed Thomas had knocked something over or something so I went upstairs and what I found was not what I was expecting. Thomas Jefferson was sitting on the floor on my office with his hand on his head. "Did you fall?!" I crack up laughing. "Yeah but only because of ur damn crooked picture!" He huffed. "You could've pulled up a chair." I say still laughing slightly before helping him up.

I look up at him. "Holy shit he's tall.." I think to myself .(Hamilton was 5'7. Hey that's my height :D)    He and I were about 4 inches away from each other before I noticed and moved to grab a chair. "Here" I moved the chair to the wall. He then stepped onto the chair to fix the painting after he stepped down he moved it back. "Better?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. "Our drinks are almost ready come on." I said gesturing for him to follow.

We get down stairs and get our drinks and sit at the dining room table. We talked for about 3 or 4 hours. We eventually heard the birds chirping and I offered him the guest room but he declined. We said our goodbyes and he left. I sighed as I closed the door. "Maybe we'll get along after all.." I thought to myself as I walked back up to my office.

And we are done. 888 words. That's saying something that's more than most of my school essays. It's summer now tho lol.
