At her Grammys**

We finally made it to my Grammys place after a long drive from Georgia to Virginia. I pretty much packed my whole life into the bag for only a two week stay. And of course I didn't forget the billion pairs of panties/thongs. Like why do I need that many, I'm not gonna have an accident at eighteen years old lol. But you never know.

As I loose my train of thought, I finally see her house and I see the cute little white picket fence. Her house looks about the same as two years ago. As we park my mom gets out to help with my suitcase and Grammy comes out to greet us.

"My sweet grand baby and my beautiful daughter!" My Grammy exclaims as she walks over with a cute gardener hat on.

"Hey mom, now I'm not gonna be staying long I got to get on the road. Just didn't want your grand baby driving by herself," she says hugging her mom.

"Of course not! Ohhh how I've missed you my sweets!" She says enthusiastically while hugging me now. My mom is just a smiling.

"I missed you too, Grammy," I say.

"Alright, I know you're aching to go see your room! Now you go get settled in and explore. While, I'm gonna have some tea with your mom before she goes," she says with her usual confidence.

"Yes ma'am!" I playfully salute her.

I walk in and run up the stairs it's the second door on the right. I open it to its same look as a few years ago. I have the room in a open white styled room. Definitely into more neutrals since the curtain, bedspread, and vanity is all lighter tones. I wouldn't have it any other way because once the morning sun comes in it's very heavenly looking.

I decide to go ahead and unpack so I can look outside. Once I finish, I go outside and look out from the deck and see in the distance kinda across a hill with sprawling trees all around. Is the same darker Victorian home that's looks like it's from a vampire book. It is kinda lit up with some dim lights and I'm appalled that it apparently has someone living there.

The only reason I'm surprised is because ever since I was a girl this particular house had a for sale sign, and nobody has bought the house. Now someone lives there and I'm curious to know who. But it's getting late and I need to say goodbye to my mom. I'm definitely going to check it out later.

I go to the living room to my mom and Grammy chatting away. My mom looks up to see me and then looks at her watch. Her eyes shoot up.

"Mother, I really need to go now! It'll be dark soon." She tells my Grammy with her stressed out look.

"Alrighty, now you drive safe and text me when you make it back," Grammy tells her. They hug and then my mom hugs me telling me to be good.

"I promise. I love you and I'll see you soon," I say sincerely with a smile.

"Love you too," she gives me a quick kiss on the cheek.

Her car drives off, while my Grammy and I make our way to her kitchen where she's already cooking. I take this chance to ask about the new neighbors.

"I saw someone is living across the lawn. Do you know who finally bought the place?" I ask.

She has her eyebrows drawn together "I actually asked around but nobody knows the man. I went over there to say hello and no one answered," she says with a puzzled face.

"Odd, normally you'd already know," I say jokingly since she always knows her towns gossip.

"Your right I normally do don't I?" She laughs and starts stirring the food.

"Well, whoever bought the place was very quiet and hasn't been seen in town. I guess they want their privacy and I'll give them that." She says with a little tilt of her head.

"Yeah I get that as well," I say with a small smile.

"Alright food is ready!" She exclaims with a little bop in her steps.

We finish eating and she starts talking, asking about how's school. I don't mention much to try to avoid any talk about boyfriends, since she didn't know about Lucas. I mainly talked about how I'm just ready to graduate and would love to just live here. To get away from any Lucas reminders and to just leave my town.

As I head up to bed, I notice my bedroom window was open and my white kinda see through curtains were moving in the light warm breeze. I don't remember seeing them open though it probably was just Grammy. But as I lay in the fluffy comforter I couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched.

The next morning the room is bright with light and I decide that I'm gonna ride my bike through town. I first do all my morning routine things and head down to tell Grammy I'm heading to town. She normally keeps to herself in the garden while I go out. As I find the bike in the shed a little farther from the house. I here noises coming from the Victorian home.

I get my bike and head down the road that goes to the house. I find myself entranced and feel a sort of pull directing me to that house. I've never been this curious to see this house so why now? I ask myself.

As I ride by I see a shadow looking down at me from a window. I'm startled to see someone is there and I pedal fast.

Now that's awkward... they saw me and now my introvert self is gonna rethink this for a while. Don't want him to think I'm a peeping Tom!
