We walk into the throne room with some high status demons around from court. I hold onto my queens hand as I lead her and I to our dais. She sits to my left as we await their arrival.

The trumpets sound and in walks the royal family of Priestley. They slightly bow for us but I've always known them to be proud mother fuckers. Though I'm quite surprised they bowed even the slightest. It means they really want something.

"Ah welcome King Marcus and Queen Nora! I'm pleased to see you here in my court." I politely greet them as I notice the queen is with child again.

"I wish it was under better circumstances but it never is." King Marcus states with a tight frown.

Never was much of a talker. "Alright then state your business in my court." I ask strictly and Alora grabs ahold of my hand.

"I'm here because I want one of your demon spy's to kill a witch hunter troubling my lands." He arrogantly states like I'm suppose to willingly do as he says.

"No, we will not." My wife and Queen Alora states without discussion. Yes, forgot to mention but we did get married a few months ago. I smirk over at her and she nods my way. I look at King Marcus as he looks downright angry, but my father always would interfere in matters that didn't need interfering. Lucifer would make a mess of things and more souls died, that I had to deal with.

King Marcus is an arrogant and deceitful little bastard who never lets his own queen speak up about anything. I feel sorry for her treatment.

The only reason I will not help him is because I've got my spy's all around each kingdoms whispering things to me. I know what "witch hunter" he means and it's one who is a powerful wizard. One who was treated wrongly because King Marcus decided he is too powerful to be his advisor. So he decided to label him as the "witch hunter" who has been brutally killing witches.

All of it is lies my shadows have told me and they never lie. King Marcus sent his mercenaries out to slaughter innocent witches just so he could keep this hunter from becoming more powerful than the king. It's absolutely absurd and I will NOT be aligned with him. All he wants is the hell court to help him and become closer to me and get rid of his "problem" so to speak.

"You know your father would have helped in a blink of an eye. You've only been king for a year, so maybe you don't know how things work between our courts. I also know the late king would've never had his queen speak out of turn." King Marcus distastefully states as he gives his wife a sharp look at the end of his vile sentence. She looks down as he casts his stare towards her.

Everyone holds their breath in the throne room because they know I may not have particularly liked my father, but I did inherit his temper. I feel myself shudder from rage and Alora can feel it as her powers have gotten much stronger. She now has had lessons on how to make others feel what she wants them to. She can project happiness, hate, sadness, and fear until it hurts.

I chuckle at his statement but the room dares not say anything. "Now now King Marcus I'd be very careful how you speak to me. But let's never speak to my queen the way you just did because she can order your execution with a wave of her hand. And I'd have nothing to say because she holds the power just as I do." I speak to him calmly and sternly trying not to rip his throat out.

"Also King Marcus if you disrespect us once more I'll have my hell hounds rip you to shreds for speaking out of turn." I use his own words against him as he looks to the right to see Baldur growl with his burning red flames coming to life on his backside. Baldur stands below us as he focuses his attention on this measly king.

"You dare threaten me... a king?! I'm asking your help because a wizard is deciding to kill young witches! And you'll do nothing to save these girls?" He angrily yells in my direction and I look over at Alora. She already knows the intel of what he did to these innocent witches. She nods at me with a smirk of her own already knowing what I'm asking of her.

I shake my head and click my tongue. "It's funny how easily you think you can lie to me. I'm definitely not the same ruler as my father once was. You see he had demon spies while I have my very own who only listen to me." I wave my hand as my dark shadows swirl around my hand and extend to the floor and all the way to King Marcus.

He starts shouting at me because as they start swirling around him. "Now King Marcus you lied about who really killed them witches just so you could get me to feel pity. Not knowing you just wanted me to wipe out a person you can't beat. Isn't that right?" I say with contempt as my shadows start whispering.

He starts waving his hands to get rid of the shadows that are suffocating his breathing. "In my experience you have to do things yourself. I mean I killed my own father so if I can do that... then you can handle this witch hunter. Right?" I ask with a head tilt and a saccharine smile.

"Stop stop this King Asmodeus!" He shouts with an look of spite. His wife on the other hand looks quite happy? Dare I say?

"One more thing King Marcus just a little parting gift. Would you do the honors for me my queen?" I ask Alora as she smiles at me.

"Of course. King Marcus, I have certain abilities where I can feed you emotions that can make you really wish you never crossed us. I can feed you pain and fear for all that lying." She states boldly to him and I can't help, but smile at her wrath towards him. She did learn from the best.

"W-what?!" He actually looks very frightened and boy does it make me happy.

"I want you to feel how them young women felt when you brutally murdered them in cold blood. How they begged but you gave them no mercy and how scared they were in their final moments." Queen Alora states with such force in her tone that it makes King Marcus step back.

"Please no stop!" He shouts as he shakes from head to toe as his eyes have a glassy look to them. He starts screaming with pure fear. I look over at my queen to nod and she stops projecting. King Marcus is bent over trembling with a look of terror.

"Let this be clear to all that if you decide to lie to me your life will be that, until you wish for death. This is a one time warning to all. King Marcus I hope you learned your lesson not to fuck with my court. Queen Nora you have a lovely day." I say with a hint of sarcasm laced in my voice as I watch King Marcus look absolutely embarrassed.

My little bird speaks up before they walk off. "Queen Nora I hope we get to know each other better in the future." She so lovely tells the other queen.

"I hope so too, Queen Alora." She sincerely states with a curtesy and a small smile. As the king and queen leave my throne room to go back home. I look at all of my demon court looking stunned from what went down tonight.

"You are all dismissed!" I announce and my court scatters. I look over at my amazing queen and cup her cheeks. She smiles over at me and I smirk back.

"You were extraordinary tonight!" I praise her.

"So were you and must I say it gave me great pleasure to wipe that stupid smile off of King Marcus's smug face. The way he treats his queen especially since she gives him children left and right is horrible. I'd kill you before you did that to me." She says with contempt and her murder plan for me...now that's my girl.

"Well it's nice to know you'll kill me before I act that way." I say with the corners of my lips raised with a wink in her direction. She playfully rolls her eyes and I kiss her cheek.

"Have to always keep you in check." She says smiling and a wink back at me. I laugh wholeheartedly and I stand up to hold out my hand. She takes it as I lead her off the dais.

"Let's sleep and see our little ones." I tell my wife and mother of my children.

She smiles and leans into my arms as we walk back to our chambers. What would I do without my little bird?
