Monday comes early after three whole days out of school, and soon it's right back to the so-called hustle and bustle of high school. The year passes along, as spring erases the winter's cold, slowly growing into the summer's warmth. Everyone tries their best to survive as school heats up, until the end of the year.
Bluey
Bluey had been meaning to talk with Mackenzie for a while now. Sure, they casually talked here and there, but she needed to talk with him...in private. He had never been the same after the night of the dance in their freshman year. It was almost as if he was avoiding her, like their talk that fateful night had changed his view of her. Bluey was stuck lost in thought...
Jean-Luc: "Hello Bluey"
Bluey: "Oh...hey Jean-Luc!"
Jean-Luc: "Long time no see, why are you sitting here alone? Shouldn't you at least be sitting with Mackenzie"
Bluey: "Well, I came over here to get some work done, but I've just been lost in my head"
Jean-Luc: "Oh I see, I don't want to be a bother"
Bluey: "No, you're fine. It's been forever since we talked, what have you been up to?"
Jean-Luc: "You know the usual, I've been trying to learn English a little bit more"
Bluey: "Well, your certainly getting better"
Bluey flashes a nice smile after the compliment, but is met with a sad face from Jean-Luc.
Jean-Luc: "I'm just disappointed that I haven't had many classes with you, or anyone for that matter that I know"
For Jean-Luc, being the new kid in a new country was difficult, as he had a tendency to be shy. He had only really made any friends from Bluey's pipeline, and he never saw them much anymore.
Bluey: "Do you mind if I speak my mind to you?"
Jean-Luc obviously doesn't object, as he is just happy that Bluey actually wants to talk to him.
Bluey: "It's about Mackenzie...I need to speak with him in person, but I don't know how I should approach it"
Jean-Luc: "Oh...I'm sorry it didn't work out between you two"
Bluey: "No, it's not that, I just need to have a perfectly normal conversation with him, without being suspicious"
Jean-Luc: "How about asking him to go somewhere with you. It'll be private and you guys can have some fun"
Bluey: "You mean like a date?"
Jean-Luc: "Well...kinda...be just be more casual about it"
Bluey: "Ok, then what should we do?"
Jean-Luc: "Well...what does Mackenzie like?'
Bluey: "Lets see...he likes sports, music, and being outdoors"
Jean-Luc: "How about you ask him to go to that music festival with you this Friday night? That'd be fun"
Bluey: "Oh yeah, that'll be great! Thanks Jean-Luc, your the best"
Jean-Luc: "Just glad I can help"
Mackenzie
Mackenzie receives a text from Bluey, saying that she wants to meet in the courtyard. A little confused, he heads to the middle of the school to meet her.
Mackenzie: "Hey, you wanted me"
Bluey: "Oh hey Kenzie, I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go to the music festival this Friday with me"
