Big Kid School 3: Junior Year

Interestingly Boring

Mackenzie couldn't remember putting his head on the pillow on Friday night. He also couldn't remember any of the weekend because before he knew it, it was Monday morning. The school week was definitely not as short as the weekend was. It was the first "real" week of school and tryouts were being held. Mackenzie and Lucky knew they would already be on the team, but Coach Boxer still made them tryout like everyone else. Mackenzie was also trying to work on his "new year, new me" for the year. He was trying to be more social. Or just being more comfortable with it.

Lucky: "Hey, you wanna create a YouTube channel?"

Mackenzie: "Why?"

Lucky: "I thought it'd be cool"

Mackenzie: "Nah, I'm good. You do you"

Lucky: "Ok then"

Coach: "Hey, Collie and Retriever, you're supposed to be the role models! Get back to sprints!"

After a long day of school, practice, and life in general, the last thing Mackenzie wanted to do was whatever homework he had. But, it had to be done.

Bluey

Bluey loved getting to spend time with her family, more than anything, but after talking with Mackenzie, missing the party seemed like a mistake. Who wouldn't want to see Lucky puke? Okay, that was a little gross she thought, but still hilarious considering the situation. But now, Bluey wanted to be the one hosting the next 'big event'.

Tuesday

Bluey: "Sorry I missed the party on Friday"

Coco: "The party was just okay, you didn't miss much"

Indy: "Yeah, just the dumb boys doing dumb boy things"

Chloe: "Well, I was thinking that we should do something again this next Friday. Maybe just with us and some of the guys."

Indy: "So we can sit around and watch their arm wrestling tournaments"

Bluey: "Let's just come up with something relaxed and fun to do"

Coco: "How about we have a sleepover"

Chloe: "What would we even do?"

Coco: "I dunno, maybe play truth or dare?"

Bluey: "No, that's way too cliche, everybody does that"

Indy: "Yeah, we all know that it's just an excuse to have people fess up on who they like"

Coco: "And we can watch this movie about these physcos at an abandoned cottage"

Chloe: "That's oddly specific"

Bluey: "And creepy"

Indy: "I'm sure we can think of something"

Bluey: "Oh, I almost forgot, next week we have our big field trip!"

Chloe: "Oh yeah, I totally forgot"

Bluey: "We should all four room together"

*everyone agrees

Coco: "Where are we going again anyways?"

Indy: "Townsville, I think"

Coco: "That far away?"

Bluey: "Yeah, it'll be great"

The group of girls continued to chat about the upcoming field trip.

Chloe: "What are we doing on Friday again?"

Mackenzie

The boys couldn't believe it...

Mackenzie: "You're famous???"
