In a vast and expanse domain of emptiness, both everything and nothing take up the infinite, yet finite space. A single entity roams the endless land.

ZRO: *sigh* It sure is tough finding ways to keep occupied.

He strolls aimlessly, trying to engage in some activity to relieve of his ever-existing boredom.

ZRO: What a shame, holding all this power and being so powerless to even do anything to stop my eventual death from boredom.

And at that exact moment, a ripple in the fabric of space appears in front of him. Zero reaches his hand out and grasps the surface, when suddenly, something grabs his hand. In a moment of confusion, Zero backs up and gazes upon the ripple, while another entity steps from the other side and into Zeros' empty world.

INK: This should be where the coordinates pointed me to.

Zero looks at the visitor with a questioned expression. The visitor turns to him and shakes his hand in a friendly manner.

INK: Oh, sorry! I should've introduced myself! The name's Ink and I'm the multiverses' guardian of sorts!
ZRO: Multiverse..?
INK: Right, you have no previous interaction. Well, worry not! I'll explain everything!

Ink pulls out a chair from thin air and sits down.

INK: You not gonna take a seat?
ZRO: Y-yeah, right.

Zero warps the space around him and sits down on the stretched layer of reality.

INK: The multiverse is basically a web where all of our universes reside.
ZRO: So there's others...
INK: Plenty others! Thing is... we've kinda got a problem. Not everyone wants the good of the others, that being the catalysts. There are other factions but our main enemy is them. I've come here with a proposal.
ZRO: What is it?
INK: The catalysts are after you.

Zeros' face turns shocked. Ink bows his head down.

INK: When I first discovered this universe and saw its' unusually high readings of soularite, I was expecting an army of warriors, but instead, I found you.
ZRO: Soularite..?
INK: Classification of the energy souls' resonate.
ZRO: They're after my heart..?
INK: And I'm afraid we don't have much time.
ZRO: T-then... I accept!
INK: I was hoping you would. Well then, without losing much time, let us move quicker then the catalysts! Follow me to our base, the legions' base of operations!

Zero follows Ink to the legions' base. They study his unique powers and quickly taught him the way of battle, but soon after, things only got worse. The catalysts attacked, and in a last ditch effort to fend them off...

INK: Zero, what are you doing?!
ZRO: Ink, I used to be lonely until you showed me the rest of the multiverse, and now, I can't let it all be destroyed.
INK: No, don't!
ZRO: Creations' point infinity!

The battle was won by the legion, but not without loss. Ink, holding his dear friends' corpse, decides to travel to Zeros' home universe and lay him there.

INK: I'm breaking a lot of regulations by doing this but it doesn't matter as long as I'm honoring a friends' dying wish.

Ink dissolves Zeros' heart into a million pieces, scattering them around the universe, before departing himself back. The fragments blossomed like flowers and in his remains, rose a new, more flourished world.

INK: Seems like this universe will be interesting. *chuckle* Damm Zero, of course your soul would result in this masterpiece.

And with that, a story of a being born alone and dying in order to save the multiverse concludes, but his death might've created something more then just a remnant.
