A warm, soothing light filled the room, signaling Frisk's awakening. The others stood by in silence, providing their unwavering support, aware that the outcome of the impending battle hinged on this moment. Noire watched in frustration as her plan unraveled before her. From within the fading light, Frisk emerged, gently opening their eyes, and greeted her friends with a heartfelt smile, but her smile turned into a serious expression once she locked eyes with Noire.
NOR: I feel really honored to be sharing this moment with you. You might not be aware, but all seven of you are actually descendants and soul-reincarnations of warriors from humanity's past. It's truly quite something!
LYD: Drop the friendliness and explain what you're talking about.
NOR: It's only right if I do.Noire raises her hand and begins to point at her opponents, one after the other. The tension in the room escalates, and with each pointed finger, a sense of anticipation fills the air.
NOR: Amber Gift, you're truly remarkable, blessed with the power to heal any kind of wound, whether it's physical or spiritual. The only other human known to possess such a gift was your grandmother, Elize Gift. She met a heroic end during the war however.
Amber bows her head, tears streaming down her face. She's just been told about her past, something she never knew. Shane attempts to speak but gets interrupted.
NOR: Shane Lyst, a fierce warrior known for her unwavering perseverance and impressive swordsmanship. You bear a striking resemblance to Cero Lyst, also known as "The Sword of Hope" in his time, before his blade met an unfortunate end.
Shane's grip tightens around the hilt of her katana, her knuckles whitening. Recollections of her mother's words echo in her mind, urging her to protect the blade, even if it costs her life. Gall appears disinterested in listening to Noire's words.
NOR: Gall Will, a Time Lord, possess the extraordinary ability to fully control the flow of time and determine its effects. Historical records do not mention the existence of any other time manipulator, primarily because your predecessor, Antoinette, altered the timeline.
GAL: (Is that what Futon was talking about back then?!)Noire intends to carry on but gets interrupted when Jess takes a step forward, confronting Noire, who smirks at the sudden arrogance of her opponent.
JSS: And why should we believe your words?!
NOR: You don't need to trust what words come out of my mouth, but you would trust the words said by a friend of yours, wouldn't you?
JSS: What are you-
NOR: Right, Loyd? The battlefield falls into silence, as each warriors gaze falls onto the marksman.
NOR: Unlike the rest of you, Loyd isn't a reincarnation, nor is he a fated soul.
RBN: Unlike the rest of us..?
NOR: Robin Brave, descendant of Meru, Jess Kalm, descendant of William, and of course, Frisk Dreemurr, descendant of-
FSK: Like we care about the past.Noires' words are cut in half by Frisks' sudden surge of determination. Her expression is annoyed and timid, her hand hovering over her blade.
FSK: Loyd is one of us. Whether or not he's a reincarnation or not, that fact doesn't change.
NOR: Seems like I couldn't use mind games as much as I wanted to.
FSK: Bette Noire, we'll crush you, not as fated souls, but as protectors of the present!
NOR: Fine, then! Come at me if you will!Frisk starts the offensive by drawing her blade and zipping across the battlefield, leaving afterimages behind her and striking Noire down. The blades' edge skims through her body but with sudden regeneration, it gets trapped inside. With quick thinking however, Frisk charges her blade with soul energy, causing it to erupt into an explosion. The smoke dissipates, revealing Noires' body rapidly regenerating. She raises her hand and forms a hand seal.
NOR: Maximum Disaster Technique, Cataclysmic Death Eruption!
The earth starts to rumble and before our warriors knew it, the land was covered in molten lava and rupturing volcanos.
NOR: This is just stage one of the apocalypse.
The determined warriors all concentrated and focused all of their will into the fight, and thus, the battle to decide the fate of the world ensued.
