Alyssa
After training with Mr. Reid and his wife, I returned to the palace, feeling exhausted. I had no idea learning how to breathe fire would drain me completely. I decided to check up on Vincent and see if he was resting in bed. I entered his room after knocking a few times when I heard no answer and saw that his bedroom was empty. Why am I not surprised that Vincent is not in bed?
I decided to check the Royal Library first or Vincent. I never imagined him reading a book, but seeing him holding paper in his hands would undoubtedly look sexy. When I arrived, he wasn't there. Next up is the kitchen. He might've gone down to ask the cook for something to eat; after all, he needs to keep himself healthy for Astarot to heal him fully.
I asked the cooks if Vincent was down here today, and they told me they never saw him. Seriously, where is that guy? The last place I thought of looking was Audrey's room; she had been through a lot these past few days, and maybe Vincent wanted to be the supportive brother he was.
I went to Audrey's room, and just when I was about to knock on the door, I heard her crying. "Audrey, are you alright?" I said.
"I'm fine; I just want to be alone right now," Audrey sniffed.
I left without saying a word. Audrey had locked herself in her room, refusing to speak to anyone. Alexandria and Vincent were getting worried, but I told them that she just needed time. I hope Audrey knows I'm here to talk when ready. Moon Goddess, please help Audrey; she needs your guidance.
"Where is that boy?" Soon, I heard music. I wondered where it was coming from. I followed the music to the workout area and saw Vincent fighting in a simulation dome. I never knew Vincent's family had this type of advanced training technology. He was sweating and working out.
"I may not be a doctor, but even I know that you do NOT go to the gym the day after surgery," I said.
Vincent's face flushed red with embarrassment. He then commanded the simulation to be terminated. "Hey, Alysaa, hi, hello!" He smiled with his eyes closed.
"Don't, hey, Alyssa, hi, hello, me! You're busted," I crossed my arms.
"Staying still was killing me," Vincent said.
"SO you thought you'd go to the gym, and take care of that yourself?" I said.
"That's a bit dramtic, don't you think?" Vincent made a poker face while I glared back with my eyes flashing. "Okay, alright, I'm done. Stop looking at me like that please,"
"Shower. NOW," I commanded.
"Are you join me?" Vincent got closer.
"You really think you'd earned that right to touch my wet naked body. I don't think so, honey," I said coldly.
"Ouch, you're kind of sexy when you're mean and bossy. But I don't like that death stare," Vincent said. Then, Vincent got in the shower.
I waited for Vincent in his bedroom; he entered while holding his shirt in his pants. "Happy now, babe?" Vincent scoffed.
"You smell better." I took a closer look at Vincent. Why on earth does he have a perfect body? I'm still mad at him, but that's getting more difficult by the second. He smiled at me. Crap, I think he noticed me staring at me. "How's you're shoulder?" I asked, trying to lower his suspicion of me staring at him.
"Almost fully healed but a little sore," Vincent said.
"Let me see," I said, turning him around to see his back.
"I thought you said you weren't a doctor?" Vincent chuckled.
"Shut up!" I said as I hovered my hand on his healing surgical wound. I removed the old wet bandages off his shoulders. His injuries were thankfully still closed, but they were still red. I sat him down, trying not to stare at his flawless chest, which was hard to accomplish. "You are an idiot, Vincent Callahan. Going to the gym while Astarot is still healing you, you were ordered to stay in bed,"
