CHAPTER EIGHTEEN:

(Y/N) sat atop Le Grand Paris, the iconic landmark that offered a breathtaking view of the city below her.

With a notebook in hand and a pen poised, she furrowed her brows in deep concentration.

She was in the midst of brainstorming a captivating story plot for her upcoming project.

Story writing was her thing, (Y/N) was well aware of her competence when it comes to writing— She knows she still has a long way to go before writing something heartfelt and eye catching.

But she didn't want to let anybody down, especially not her newfound friends at College François Dupont.

Lost in her thoughts, (Y/N) was unaware that she had an unexpected companion.

His footsteps slowly creeping behind (Y/N), spotting the pen and book in her hands.

Viperion, the hero with the power of Second Chance, had spotted her from afar and decided to join her in her creative endeavor.

He approached stealthily, a mischievous grin playing on his lips. "Hey, (Y/N). Isn't it cold out here— What are you doing?"

As (Y/N) scribbled down ideas, Viperion materialized beside her, causing her to jump in surprise. "Holy Macaroni, Viperion! You spooked the living shiitake mushrooms out of me!" she exclaimed, clutching her chest.

Chuckling softly, Viperion replied, "Sorry, not sorry. I couldn't resist joining you. What fascinating story are you crafting this time?"

(Y/N) chuckled nervously, slightly flustered by Viperion's sudden appearance. "Oh, it's just a little project I'm working on. I'm trying to come up with an exciting plot for a story."

Viperion leaned in, peering over her shoulder at the notebook. "Well, it sounds intriguing. Mind if I lend a hand?"

Surprised yet delighted by his offer, (Y/N) smiled. "Well— I don't know. Don't you have patrolling to do or something?"

Caught off guard by her question, Viperion chuckled nervously and rubbed the nape of his neck, coming up with some sort of believable excuse to use.

"Let's just say that I'm on my break? Let's get brainstorming."

And so, the duo began their brainstorming session. Ideas flowed freely between them as they bounced concepts back and forth.

While Viperion didn't know the exact purpose of the story— Or maybe he did.

Nonetheless, he enthusiastically contributed with suggestions and witty retorts, making (Y/N) laugh throughout the process.

"You know, Viperion," (Y/N) said, grinning, "it seems like you're having a lot of fun following me around whenever I'm trying to write something."

Viperion smirked, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "Oh, (Y/N), it's always a joy to be by your side, no matter what you're doing."

His sweet response caught (Y/N) off guard, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

The way Viperion worded it felt so comforting and natural— It's as if there weren't a barrier between them that was stopping both parties from truly getting what they wanted.

She couldn't help but feel a flutter of warmth in her heart.

As they neared the end of their creative session, Viperion couldn't contain his curiosity any longer.

"Hey, (Y/N), I've been wondering something. Why did you choose to be a director and story writer instead of pursuing an acting role?" He asked.

(Y/N) blinked in surprise, realizing that she had never mentioned her involvement with the school play to Viperion. "Wait, how did you know about that? I never told you."

A slip up— A massive slip up. Viperion quickly cursed under his breath, almost disappointed with himself at his carelessness.

For a moment, he forgot about his role as Viperion. For a moment there, he sat beside (Y/N) and talked like his Normal self. He completely forgot about the situation that cocooned them.

He wasn't Luka at that time— He was Viperion.

With a nervous aura, Viperion chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Let's just say I have my ways of finding things out. So, spill the beans, (Y/N)."

With a slight blush still tinting her cheeks, (Y/N) explained, "Well, acting is amazing, and I do enjoy it, but I find more fulfillment in crafting stories, creating worlds, and bringing characters to life through my writing. I feel like I have more control and can make a bigger impact behind the scenes."

Viperion nodded, a thoughtful expression on his face. "That makes sense. Your passion for storytelling shines through in everything you do."

Viperion bid her goodnight a few hours later, leaving (Y/N) confused and bewildered in her seat.

She pondered for a brief moment, before deciding to head back inside her and Zoé's shared room.

"Who the heck is Viperion? And why does he know about all the stuff? That masked hottie is really making the gears in my head turn."

After their time at the top of Le Grand Paris, (Y/N) made her way back to her room, where her roommate Zoé awaited her.

Bursting with excitement, she couldn't help but share every detail of her encounter with Viperion.

"Zoé, you won't believe what happened today!" (Y/N) exclaimed, practically bouncing with energy.

"I was brainstorming for my story plot, and Viperion showed up out of nowhere! He actually helped me come up with ideas, and we had such a great time together!" (Y/N) dramatically fanned her face, "I am so in love with that hottie."

Zoé's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? Viperion? That's incredible, (Y/N)." She nodded her head, "It sounds like you two had a lot of fun. Do you think he goes to the same school as us?"

(Y/N) pondered for a moment, her mind filled with curiosity. "I don't know, Zoé. But I'm starting to wonder the same thing. It would be quite a coincidence if he did. Maybe I should try to find out."

Excitement and anticipation filled (Y/N)'s heart as she contemplated the possibility of Viperion being a fellow student.

Little did she know that this revelation of hers was only the beginning of a remarkable journey that would intertwine their lives in unexpected ways.
