CHAPTER THIRTY ONE:
Luka slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurry as he tried to adjust to the unfamiliar surroundings.
The room he found himself in was cozy and warm, the soft glow of sunlight seeping through the curtains. Initially, he didn't feel threatened, but a sense of confusion and unease washed over him as he struggled to piece together what had happened.
Memories of the intense battle with the Akumatized villain at the auditorium flooded back into his mind.
He vividly remembered being flicked away, hurtling through the air with no control over his destination.
And now, he found himself in this mysterious room, separated from everything he knew.
Sass, his loyal Kwami, hovered beside him, concern etched on his small face. "Where are we, Sass?" Luka asked, his voice filled with uncertainty.
Sass shook his head, his blue eyes reflecting the same confusion. "I'm not sure, Master," he replied, his voice tinged with worry. "We seem to have ended up in an unfamiliar place."
Luka's brow furrowed as he pondered the situation. How had he ended up here? And more importantly, how could he find his way back home?
Just as his thoughts began to race, the door to the room creaked open, revealing (Y/N) standing in the doorway.
She held a bowl of water in one hand, accompanied by a rag.
Her presence both surprised and intrigued Luka, momentarily diverting his attention from his predicament.
"Luka you son of a Leprous Donkey—"
Luka's eyes widened in shock as (Y/N) embraced him tightly, her arms wrapped around him in a fierce hug.
Her words tumbled out in a mixture of relief and frustration, expressing her worry and scolding him for his reckless behavior.
"You shouldn't do anything reckless ever again!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with a mix of concern and anger. "Jumping around buildings and fighting bad guys? You need to be more vigilant, Luka! You could get seriously hurt!"
Luka was taken aback by (Y/N)'s outburst. He hadn't realized that she knew about his alter ego as Viperion.
In his attempts to play it cool, he stuttered, trying to deny her accusations. "I...I don't know what you're talking about," he stammered, hoping to maintain his secret identity.
(Y/N) wasn't fooled by Luka's feeble attempt at denial.
She held him at arm's length, her gaze filled with a mix of amusement and frustration. "Luka, don't act dumb— I've known about your secret identity for a long time now," she stated firmly, her voice leaving no room for argument.
Luka's eyes widened even further, his mind racing to comprehend what (Y/N) had just revealed.
How had she discovered his secret? And why had she kept it hidden for so long?
Unable to contain her excitement and concern any longer, (Y/N) playfully pinched Luka's cheeks, her tone now filled with affectionate annoyance.
"You think you can fool me, Viperion?" she teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I've been watching you for a while. You're not as stealthy as you think."
Luka's mouth hung open, words failing him as he tried to process (Y/N)'s confession.
He had always been careful to hide his identity as Viperion, but apparently, he hadn't been as successful as he believed.
