Chapter 15: Last night and a successful Thneed

Rosemary's POV

I woke up feeling a little dizzy, my head hurt a little and I was still sleepy. I got up a little and stretch a little, looked down and immediately blush and cover my body with my blankets. I was naked!

"Why am I even naked?! " I thought. But suddenly I heard those familiar snores. I slowly turned to see my right and it was Oncie!!!

"Ready for round 3 Rose?~" he said sleep talking and drooling a little. I blushed and decided to shake him a little to wake him up.

"Onceler! Wake up!" I said shaking him and still blushing.

"Huh? *yawn* ......ROSE?!?!" he said waking up and blushing.

"What happened?! Did we-"

"YES" I shouted, interrupting him. We both looked with messy hair. I got up with one of my blankets, covering my body and saw through my mirror that I had bite marks on my neck, shoulders and even chest!

"I'm so stupid! Lorax said he was gonna stop it but I think I was stronger than him and ran away*sigh* I'm sorry Rose" Onceler said.

"No, it's not your fault, it's mine. I should have told you this so we could prepare, but I was nervous about telling you because I know we have only dated for weeks" I said ashamed.

".....Well, I still remember it and....Ok, I admit it, it was awesome" he said blushing, that made me blush and I smiled.

"Well....me too, a lot actually" I said and started chuckling and he laughed. I lay down again and hugged him, which he hugged back, I guess this wasn't so bad after all.
After that I told Onceler that since we were still sweaty, we should bath together in the lake, and he was fine by that. We bath together, he was teasing me a little at that, but not something so sexual 😅 more like compliments or hugs. After that we got dressed and walked to his tent, we were talking and laughing about every little thing we imagined about ourselves. When Oncie opened the door for me, my smile faded away when I saw my father sitting on Onceler's bed raising an eyebrow. Onceler then got in and his smile faded away too.

"Tell me Beanpole, did you had fun?" he said and Once just blushed.

"I....uuhhh" he tried to speak but words didn't come out.

"You weren't watching us, did you?" I asked Father and got down.

"I was running behind him but since you wolf walkers run so fast, I arrived to the cave but when I look up, you were already doing it! So I left quickly" he said, I started blushing madly and groan, so did Once.

"You are not allowed to never speak of that again" he said and Father nodded.

"Anyway, I will make break-" Oncie was about to finish until every creature of the forest appeared quickly by the word.

"Guess you will have to make a whole lot of pancakes dear" I said chuckling nervously.

"I guess so, hmmm, ok, I'll do it" he said with no worries and started cooking.

After a couple of minutes, we ate, you wouldn't believe how delicious his pancakes are, you can feel them melting in your mouth. I ate like 3 but my father ate like almost 9 rounds of 10 piles of pancakes.

"Father,don't you think those are a lot of pancakes?" I said kindly but he looked at me.

"You may have the abilities of a wolf, but I have the stomach of a wolf too"  he said and I just rolled my eyes playfully. Everything was ok until the ground was starting to shake.

"Wo-o-o what is go-o-oing on?" Onceler said holding his pile of pancakes. I used my good hearing and heard a lot of people coming.

"Peo-ople, th-ey a-are causing i-it!" I tried saying as the ground kept shaking.

Onceler, my father and I got out, I was holding a fish that looked like a balloon from all the pancakes he ate. When we saw all the people singing that familiar song, our mouths dropped and I dropped the fish as it rolled down to the water and all the barb-a-loots hid. All the humans were singing Onceler's tune when he was trying to sell his thneed. I looked at him and his eyes sparkled of joy but also in shock. People started handing him money and he jumped with excitement and the crowd picked him up.

"WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS BABY!!" he shouted from excitement pointing at me and I was very happy and I knew he could do it!! Then he took his little magical machine called phone ( understand her, she got to the forest maybe in 1770, phones didn't even exist in that time) and I could easily hear his conversation.

"Mom it's me! I told you I was gonna be a success! Come on! We're gonna be rich!!" Onceler shouted and my smiled disappeared and my expression turned into shock and confusion. His mother?! The one who never loved him or believed in him?! Not counting being a complete manipulator and whore?! I thought he said he didn't want to see her again. But looking at him very happy made me calm down and smile at him, at least he is very happy, and I love when he smiles. After 20 minutes, he had gain a lot of money to start back with his business.

"Oh Rose, I'm so happy! Look at this! For one thneed?! It's amazing!" Onceler said and I just chuckled at how funny he looked, but then hugged me and kiss my cheek a bunch of times, if I was a wolf, my tail would be shaking a lot of how lovely that feels.

"Now, all I have to do is wait for my family to come. And I think they will like you!" he said wrapping his arm on my waist to pull me closer to his side.

"Well.... I hope so" I said smiling at him, he smiled back and got inside his tent to save the money and finally relax after the amazing day he really had.

We had dinner together and when I was going to leave to my cave, he stopped me by grabbing my hand.

"Hey...um Rose....why don't you sleep with me tonight? Together?" he said rubbing his neck behind.

"I don't see why not" I said smiling and he smiled back, we got comfortable on his bed, he was hugging my waist behind and started sleeping. We became wolves and started to play or run outside. This was really a great day.
