Sunscreen

I dropped my bag in the sun-baked sand and laid down a towel.

JJ rested his board against a piece of driftwood and I looked over at the rest of the group as Kiara set down the cooler and John B and Pope carried in three more surfboards.

JJ sat down on the towel next to me and I smiled, "Hi."

"What's up, Cupcake?" He smiled back and leaned backward on his forearms. His ocean-blue eyes caught the light and I leaned forward, kissing his lips softly. The contrast of his tan skin, to his coral-pink lips, and the ultraviolet glow of his eyes made me crazy about him.

"Want to put on some sunscreen before you turn into Mr. Krabs again?" I asked and he rolled his eyes and grabbed the sunscreen from my bag.

"But you loved the tan I got after that." He shrugged and handed me the bottle, "Totally worth it."

"Skin cancer isn't. Turn around." I demanded and he groaned, turning around and sitting criss-crossed with his hands in his lap. I poured the liquid into my hand and rubbed it between my hands then gently spread it out on his shoulders.

I could see the corners of his lips rising as I massaged the sunscreen onto his back. I grabbed more and rubbed my hands down his collarbones and then further down his chest. He turned his head toward my cheek and pecked my skin gently. I grinned and turned my head, allowing him to kiss my lips once.

I brought my hand up to his nose and applied a short line of sunscreen on the bridge. He laughed and turned toward me. "You're adorable," I muttered as I gently wiped the sunscreen across his cheeks and forehead.

"Oh yeah?" He asked and brought his hand to my face, swiping sunscreen on my nose.

My jaw dropped and I pushed his shoulder, "I already have sunscreen on my face, I'm going to look like a ghost."

"A very cute ghost, boooooooo." He grinned and rubbed in the small amount of sunscreen on my face as I finished rubbing in the sunscreen on his shoulders.

Before I could stand up I saw him waving the bottle of sunscreen in his hand. I gave him a mischievous look before pulling off my shirt and sliding off my shorts. "Wouldn't want to get skin cancer on this thing, now would we?"

JJ grinned, his hand sliding to my back. I turned around and let him put sunscreen on my back. Once he was finished he waved his finger in the air, telling me to turn around.

"Come on, now. It's getting hotter by the minute, and that water is calling my name." He complained and I laughed and crossed my wrists behind his neck. He spread the cream on my chest, blending it in until it turned transparent. I moved my hand and slowly pulled down the top of my bikini slightly.

JJ's face was glowing with early excitement as he gently ran his finger down my cleavage, "Wouldn't want to miss that spot, huh?" He smiled and pulled me closer, I leaned in to kiss him as I sat up on my knees. When our lips touched it was as if the sun intensified the pounding in my heart.

"Let's go surf," I said, knowing that the joy he got from his friends and the water made all the emotions he had for me grow by thousands. God, I love this boy... even when he could be in the cast of SpongeBob.
