Chapter 17 - the fall of Hogwarts.

Voldemort was standing in the middle. His massive fan club on one side and Hogwarts on the other. Draco was up near the back and Hermione, Ron and I were near the front. I saw Susan a little bit in front of me. I didn't go up to her since it now was dead silent. Harry stayed inside, if he went out there, it would be on sight.

"Who objects to what just happened," Voldemort said doing that devilish smile again. I saw Susan raise her hand. Shit. "Is that a Hufflepuff??" One of the death eaters said and they snickered. Whispers are sent among both sides. "What's your name?" He said pointing at her. "Susan bones." She said. "What do you have to say?" He said. This wasn't going to end well. "You're a cruel man that should be kept in Azkaban." She started to say but was cut off. "She could not have been more dumb until now." I thought. "AVADA KADAVRA." Just with those 2 words the world went quiet. She fell to the ground. "NO," I screamed. It hurts losing your best friend. I ran to her body. Tears spilling out of my eyes. I kept saying no over and over again. I felt strong arms wrap around me. I realised it was Draco from the black arm sleeves of his suit. He kissed my forehead as I sobbed uncontrollably into his chest. I didn't even care if I was mad at him.

Voldemort didn't even talk. It was awfully silent. I'm guessing people might have been shocked about the whole Draco thing. I'm a little disappointed that Hermione didn't do anything. Just goes to show who my real friends were. I bet it wasn't even Ron that told everyone. "Who wants to join the dark lord?" Bellatrix said. "How about we start with a loyal one already," Voldemort suggested.

I looked up at Draco. "Draco, dear boy," Voldemort said. "Ellie go stand with Blaise," Draco said standing up, I did too. "No, I'm going with you," I said intertwining my fingers with his. "I can't let you get involved in this stuff." He whispered. "Well if I stay here I'm going to die anyways, I'd rather be involved than die without you," I said. He smiled. He turned to face Voldemort and I did too. I took a deep breath and Draco's grip on my hand tightened.

We walked up to him. "Gained one," Voldemort said. I turned my head and looked at everyone else. Some were angry, and some were sad, I scanned the faces till I got to Hermione and Ron. They looked mad. I then saw Harry peeking around the door. He gave me a reassuring nod. At least he cares. I turned back to face the death eaters. Voldemort hugged Draco. It was really awkward. He went to hug me. "If you touch me, I'm killing you myself. I'm only here for Draco." I said and he backed away. We walked over to Draco's parents. Narcissa and Lucius.

I was just following Draco. Narcissa held out her hand and Draco took it. We left the grounds and walked along the bridge away from Hogwarts. "Welcome to the family Ellie," Narcissa said.

I didn't know what the future held but as long as I'm with Draco, I don't care.
