I walk into the common room and see Rose Zeller. I think I might puke at the sight of her. She is the definition of pretty girl privilege. She has a foul mouth. She isn't a girl's girl. She hates me because I dated Cedric. She is lucky she didn't.

I try to sneakily walk up the stairs to the room that I share with Susan but Rose talks. "Have a midnight fuck, Charles?" She said laughing. "You wish you could," I said rolling my eyes. "Who would wanna do that?" She said pointing to my body. "Well Cedric did, I haven't seen him all over you?" I said earning an eye roll from her. "Cya babes," I said and walked up the stairs.

 I opened up the door and saw Susan reading a book. "Nice book??" I said smiling. "Indeed." She said returning the smile.

I sat down on my bed. All I could think about was Malfoy. How did he want me, over every other girl that has been fawning over him? His lips on mine, his soft spot, how protective he is and we aren't even dating. This boy had a chokehold on me. I smiled to myself. "What's got you so happy on this fine evening El?" She said closing her book, ready to listen to whatever I was going to say. I trust Susan with my life, she keeps my secrets.

"Possibly a boy?" I said taking off my shoes. "What house is he in?" She asked. "This might seem bad but Slytherin," I said lying down on my back and looking at the ceiling. "Houses don't mean much, but love does!" she said happily. I smiled. "I guess you're right. I think we are sort of a thing but haven't made it official." I continued. "Well you have to start somewhere, I'm happy for you!" she said excitedly. "This is what I love about you, you always support me no matter what," I said softly as I was getting tired. "You do the same for me, goodnight El." She said and flicked off her lamp switch. "Goodnight Suze," I said shutting my eyes.
