Hit The Road

We all walk out of the house. Me and Tuck were still laughing. That was until I heard my phone beeped. I took it out. Uh oh... It's a video message from... Munch. "Guys." I said they all stop and look at my phone. I click on the video.

"My name is Reginald 'Munch' Barrett. This is my... Kind of final message. To my best friends." He said with tears rolling down his face. "I love you guys." Then it ended.

I look at all of them with worried eyes. "We need to find him." I said running to the car. Alex sat in the front while Tuck in the car side. I sat behind Tuck and Emma sat on the other side.

"Really your googling it?" Emma ask. "Got any better ideas?" I ask her. "Why can't you drive?" She whined. I rolled my eyes. "I don't have my driver licenses yet." I said. "Guys." Alex said.

"Okay. Step one, get a drivers license." Alex said. "Yup, were screwed." Emma said. Tuck turned on the engine and he hit the gas. "Stop!" We all screamed. Then he stopped making us move forth then back.

"Alright... Alright." Tuck said. "Do you even know what your doing?" Emma said kind of yelling. "No I don't." He said back. "Step two. Be calm." Alex said ignoring us. "Yeah, What ever you do just stay-." I was cut off cause Tuck put his foot on the gas again. "What are you doing!" I yelled. Then he stop again. "Sorry.. Sorry." He said.

"Okay... Okay I got it." He said. He hit the gas again and we almost hit trashcans. "Tuck! Turn!" Me and Alex yelled. After that he got the hang of it. He drives more smooth. "Alright i'm excited should I just gun it?" He ask. "No!" We all shouted.

*Later*

We were now on the road. Me and Emma made small talks. It wasn't the same though. "I need-I need music. Somebody play some music." Tuck said. Alex turned on the radio.

"Alright." He said. Some old western music played. "Oh gosh." I said shaking my head trying not to laugh at my brother horrible choice in music. Alex changed it a couple times till a good song came on. He look back at me. I nod while he shrug. So he left it on. I mean I don't know this song but it's a start ... I guess.

*Minutes later*

Time has passed. I was looking at the window not paying attention to them. With the radio in the background. We passed people's houses.

"I'm gonna miss it here." I said. "Yea me too." Alex said. Tuck stood quite. Then he spoke. "Me too." He said.

We finally stop. I looked around were here. At the construction site. Tuck turned off the car. "Were here." He said getting out . We all got out too.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Emma said. I ignored her and walk away. Trying to find a way in. "Did you hear that?" I hear Tuck say behind me. "Yeah." Emma said.

We walk up to some gates. "We need to jump." Tuck said. Yeah no thanks. Me an gates or fences are not good friends. "I'll go first." Tuck said. He threw his camera first over the gate and then he climb it. Getting over it. Then Emma went next. "I'll give you a boost." Alex said behind me. I look back. And nod. "Okay." I said. I breath in and out slowly. Like I did with Echo.

Oh how I miss Echo. Oh and Munch of course. I climb up. I put my foot on his hands and he helped me up. I got over it without struggles. But when I fell I hurt my arm a lil but I walk it off. I waited for Alex. Once he climb over we ran up to Tuck, and Emma. We hide behind some type of bush.

I look around. "What he hell is this?" I hear Tuck say. "There definitely not construction workers That's for sure." I said.

Hey guys! This book is almost finish. How is it so far? I just came back from visiting my dad, so I didn't go to school. Only two more weeks then I promote, and then I'm done with 8th grade. So excited!
