Not The Best At Goodbye's

I look at Alex. He had the same look when I looked for Munch. You know, when he did something stupid.

"Alex I know what your thinking." I said trying to stop him.

Tuck caught on and tries to sop him too. Alex walk to the swing seat and put it together like a rope.

"Alex! Stop think about this." I said.

"The only way that thing can take off, is to come up and out of the ground threw us." Tuck said.

Munch saw what he was doing. "What are you doing?" He ask.

"This isn't about us anymore. It's about other people, a whole community still asleep in their beds." I said.

"Let's think about this first." Tuck said.

"Alex if your going down there then i'm coming with you." I said.

"What." Tuck said.

He stop and look at me. "'No, your not coming." Alex said. Connecting the chains.

"If i'm not going then your not going." I said.

"Sorry. But it's only me this time." He said going down.

"Alex! Alex!" I yelled. Nothing.

"Shit.." I hear Tuck say.

I grab the chains and started to climb down.

"Wait. Lib what do you think your going?" Tuck said stopping me.

"Tuck we can't just leave him there." I said climbing down. I hear them yelling my name as I go down.

I know you think i'm crazy. But i'm not. I'm not leaving Alex behind. Either he likes it or not.

Once I got down I see Alex putting Echo on something. Then a door opened. Making me jump a lil. I followed behind him.

"Alex." I said. He turned around.

"I told you if you go I go." I said walking up to him. He turned back to Echo.

"You gotta see this." He said. I walk closer to him. I looked around.

"Wow." I said amazed.

Once I was up to Alex he put his arm on my waist pulling me closer to Him. We looked at Echo.

He looks way better then before. You know, when we first found him. It feels like it was like weeks ago or something, but it was really just only yesterday.

He was setting up something. Well that's what it looks like. I'm really gonna miss him. He made me relies something i never had before.-

"I left you behind before." I hear Tuck say. I jumped but turned around anyway. Alex did the same. I see Emma and Munch behind Tuck. I smiled at them.

"And i'm not gonna do that again." He finished. The walked closer.

"Hey." I said.

"Whoa. This is insane." Tuck said looking around.

Emma and Munch did the same. Echo chirped and sent something around the room to form little small clips of all of us.

From when we were in the barn, asking him 20 questions, when we wee introduced ourselves, and just.. Us being us. Then the videos faded. We all turned back to Echo. This is it. Man, I really hate goodbyes.

"So um, Beep. Uh, um." Alex started sniffing. "I don't really know how to say goodbye... So i'm not. And um... Your my friend, you know? Even when i'm old, even when you think i've forgotten.. I'm always gonna be there." He said.

I wipe the tears from my eyes. Echo imitated his ringtone again.

And then everything started shaking. "Did you feel that?" Tuck ask. Then it shake again.

"We need to leave." Emma said already leaving. Tuck and Munch ran behind her.

"Bye." Alex whispered running after them.

I walk in front of Echo.

"Thanks.. For the best night of our lives... It was a night I won't forget. thanks again Echo... I'm really gonna miss you." I said wiping the tears again.

"Lib!" Alex yelled. We all ran trying to climb up.

"Wait my camera." Tuck said going down and going back up again.
