Chapter Twenty-Three

Freddy groaned softly and slowly opened his eyes. He coughed lightly and rolled onto his stomach his right hand was missing and his legs were badly damaged but still functional, his lower jaw was missing along with his right eye. Slowly getting up onto his feet before he heard a chuckle, he turned around to come face to face with a large black bear who was leaning against the doorframe of the small shed like building they were in.

Freddy raised an eyebrow and tilted his head "Hello?" He asks his voice glitching slightly as the bear grinned "Hello, It's great to finally see another face 'round here" he said walking over and offering Freddy his hand "Who are you and where are we?" Freddy asks making the bear laugh softly

"I'm Nightmare and this is the metal junkyard if you can't tell" he said helping Freddy to stand "Lovely name..." Freddy groans and leans against Nightmare. The darker bear snorted softly "C'mon let's try fix you up" he said picking Freddy up in one arm and carrying him like a child. Nightmare was a massive bear 6'4 and very strong although a little rusty.

((Per usual in my stories Nightmare is gunna be shortened to Nm for my sanity))

Nm carried Freddy around the junk yard taking bits and pieces from anything he could find, each piece was used to repair the smaller brown bear. It took three whole days of scavenging to find enough parts to get Freddy working properly. "So Nm.. how'd you end up here?" Freddy asks the black bear out of curiosity.

Nm just looked away for a moment "I malfunctioned on stage and they said it was a perment bug they weren't sure how to fix.. so I was tossed away" Nm said shaking his head "What about you?" He asks in return to bury his feelings. Freddy looked down "My apparent brother's boyfriend destroyed me and threw me out.." he looked down as Nm raised his eyebrows "Wow.. that's real shitty, do you know the way back to your pizzeria?" Nm asks as Freddy nods "From here yes.. but we can't go out in daylight" he said with a shrug.

"Does it look like day dingus?" Nm asks pointing to the moon, Freddy would look at Nm "then what are we waiting for?" He asks making Nm roll his eyes and help Freddy up. Freddy would quickly stumble to the door, Freddy wasn't able to walk properly so he had to quickly stumble around. If he slowed down he would fall over, which is why Nm always held Freddy's forearm.

Nm looked around the empty streets, Nm wasn't wearing anything but a dirty white shirt, baggy black jeans and a ripped up yellow bow. Since Freddy was so damaged Nm had rapped a torn blanket around Freddy like a cloak with a hoodie, Nm was half tempted to just carry Freddy but he could tell Freddy was a natural leader and prefered to do things his way and on his own.

The two came to a stop, Freddy using his only hand to hold onto Nm's shoulder to keep himself upright "This is it... they've changed it so much" he said looking at the bright sign with Toy Freddy and his knock off gang. Nm scrunched his nose "They look like dolls" he huffs as Freddy nodded "Yea. I want my pizzeria back..." Freddy lowered his ears. Nm patted his back "Well how do we get in?" He asks making Freddy frown "I want to get everyone's attention. I need to get their attention" he said putting his hand to the door.

Nm shook his head "No it's best to get the attention of your brother first" he said walking around the building looking for an entrance Freddy scrambled after him falling over in the process. Nm tore off a vent cover before looking at Freddy "Oh god dammit we really need to fix you.." Nm groans and picks Freddy up helping him into the vent. Freddy scrambled inside since he was missing his legs and most of his arm casings he was able to fit better but since his good hand had no fur he was making a ton of scraping sounds.

Nm followed behind him, Freddy would fall from the vent not even bothering to try land knowing his legs couldn't handle it, laying on the floor before Nm landed on his feet next to Freddy. Nm hissed when the lights came on, there stood Goldie who had a taser in hand. When he spotted Freddy on the floor he froze "Fred??" He gasps in surprise as Freddy just raised his hand before dropping it and groaning, Nm stepped to the side and allowed Gold to run to him seeing he was no longer armed.

Gold would scoop Freddy up and tear up "What happened to you?" He asks as Freddy looked up at him "Springtrap.. axed me" he said making Gold's eyes widen, he set Freddy on the couch. Nm just watched as Gold slammed a door open causing Nm and Freddy to flinch. "SPRINGTRAP YOU BITCH GET UP NOW!" Gold yelled at the top of his lungs not only waking Spring up but the whole household?
