You found yourself groaning as the sunlight hit your face. The light came from the traitorous blinds that were parted ever so slightly. You simply turned and instead wrapped your arms around the sleeping form beside you. Ahri smiled in her sleep just by feeling your warmth.

Her eyes fluttered open and she couldn't keep the smile off her face. She gently began to rub your hand as it stuck to her smooth, soft skin. Now knowing that she was awake, you leaned over and kissed her cheek which caused her to inhale before looking back to you.

Y/N: I ever tell you how beautiful you are?

Ahri leaned up and kissed your lips.

Ahri: Mm. But I won't ever stop you from saying it again.

The sweet kiss turned into two before your lips became embedded in a dance. Before things could get too far, however, you both pulled away.

Y/N: What time do you have to go in today?

Ahri: 10 or so. What time do you have school?

You sighed.

Y/N: In, like, an hour.

Ahri playfully pushed your head away.

Ahri: And this is why I don't want you staying over on a school night.

You only grinned.

Y/N: Funny. You didn't seem to mind last night.

Ahri smacked your chest as she got up. You watched her for a moment before you decided to get up and get dressed as well. It was true, you did have school today. But you'd rather spend it with Ahri instead. Having been dating for nearly half a year now, it wouldn't be too out of the blue if you did.

Ahri turned and watched as you pulled on your jeans. Her eyes traveled to your hair which was now much longer than when you started dating. It now reached the nip of your neck, but she liked it. It gave you a bit of a wild look. Your muscle had also improved now that you were nearing the end of the hockey session. Your record was great with a whopping 8 wins and 2 loses. You were sure to make it to the championship at this rate. One more game to go, and that would be it.

Ahri: Will you be coming over later?

Y/N: Probably not. Jinx wants to check out that new pancake place at the mall. She did say you're more than welcome to go too.

That was also another thing that had changed. Ahri was now close to your friends and vice versa. You were even having times when you would be out with Evelynn or Akali without Ahri and Ahri often had Xayah and Jinx over for girls night. She had invited Lux a few times too, but she was always either busy or too tired. She didn't even get to meet Ahri until you got Ezreal to cover her shift at the record store so Lux could go to an album release party for Evelynn.

She was very excited.

But now, it was back to being a normal teen doing normal teen things.

You gave Ahri one last kiss, and winked.

Y/N: See you later, Foxy.
------------
Jinx: PANCAKES!

Jinx chewed down on pancakes while Akali and Kayn followed suit. You and Ezreal just watched as they completely devoured the third plate of flapjacks.

Ezreal: You know, this wouldn't be embarrassing if people weren't looking at us.

You looked over to see a group of girls whispering and pointing to you and Akali. You were slowly getting recognized as Ahri's boyfriend and Akali's career was taking off. Made things awkward at times.

Still, it was kinda cool. Plus more people have been coming to the home games. No one complained about having an audience to show off to. Some of your teammates even got offered some scholarships, so everyone was benefitting from your relationship.

Still, you never let it become a chore to date Ahri. You actually did like her and you enjoyed spending time with her whenever you could. It was.....a breath of fresh air.

Jinx: I'm surpised that your girlyfriend didn't come.

You just shrugged.

Y/N: She has to film for Star Guardian.

That she was. And she was killing it from what little you've seen. You were absolutely excited to see the final product.

Ezreal was going to make a jab, but stopped when he spotted a familiar face. You noticed his reaction and followed his gaze to see who it was.

Tryndamere.

You quickly looked down, suddenly shaken from fear. But you weren't that lucky.

Trynd: Fucking coward.

The larger boy walked by, muttering under his breath. He wouldn't admit he saw you, but he wanted to let you know he did, and that he wasn't happy about it.

And you weren't the only one who heard.

Akali: Wow. What a dick.

She looked to see what your responses would be, but she found that everyone had the same look. Regret and longing.

Akali: Uh, I'm guessing you know him?

Ezreal: During better days, yeah. He used to be a friend.

Akali: Really? What happened?

You just sighed.

Y/N: He....he knew Ashe. They were really close.

Akali realized the situation and slowly went back to eating her pancakes. You sat there for a moment before looking over to Trynd. That was when you noticed the jersey he was wearing.

Y/N: Isn't that.....

Ezreal: The team we'll be facing off in the Championship if we win.

And to top it off, there was a golden C on his shoulder. He was the captain.

You gritted your teeth a bit before you turned back to your plate. You were here with your friends, not to deal with past beef. Might as well enjoy it.

Y/N: Past me the blueberry syrup.

Jinx: Solid choice.

She handed it to you and you began to place it on your pancakes.

Kayn: Oh yeah, what are we doing in the 3rd?

Akali: The 3rd? What's on the 3rd?

You smiled.

Y/N: My 18th birthday.

Akali made a face and immediately got up.

Akali: I need to use the bathroom.

She then ran off without another word. You all sat there for a moment before turning back to each other.

But in the bathroom, Akali was on her phone calling Ahri, who wasn't answering, before switching to texting.

Ninja: Dude
Ninja: ur boyfriend's birthday on the 3rd
Ninja: gotta do somethang

After all, you only turn 18 once.
