Penelope strode into her office, preparing to meet with Josie. She couldn't believe Hope had put her in charge of this meeting and had so much faith in her. Penelope took a deep breath before entering the room and smiled confidently at the woman waiting for her inside. "Good morning," she said, extending a hand in greeting. "I will be conducting the meeting today."

Josie looked up at the woman who was wearing a short skirt which showed off her legs. "I thought I was having a meeting with hope?" penolpe smiled "She had to take care of a few things at the moment, so she asked me to fill in for her. Shall we begin?" Josie nodded and Penelope started the meeting.

"so, why are you here." that was the first question that was asked, Josie looked at the woman who seemed to have no emotions whiles doing this meeting. "because of Lizzie-" penolpe cut her off. "if it's about her and not the wonderful opportunity miss labonair has given you, I would like to cut this meeting short." Josie looked startled. Penelope could tell that she was not expecting her reaction, but this meeting was about business and Josie needed to understand that.

"Listen, this is a great opportunity for you. You have the chance to make something of yourself here and I'm sure Lizzie would be proud of what you could become if you take this chance."

"well she would be proud of me whatever I do, and all I'm saying is that I don't want to work here if you're going to fire my sister and not me." penolpe looked at the girl who was staring intensely at her.

"if you don't want to work here, don't. we have many people who would love your place. we could replace you in a second,"

"as you did with my sister." penolpe was slowly getting annoyed at the brunette twin's persistence.

"Your sister left because she chose to, she was not fired. so if you want this job then please keep that in mind and do your best here." Josie shook her head, "she was fired. my mum told me."

Penolpe sighed, she had a feeling this conversation was going nowhere and it was time to end it. "I understand why you feel the way you do Josie, but that is not how things are here. hope would never fire any of her employees unless they do something wrong and your sister had done nothing wrong."

She looked at penolpe, "then why was she fired."

"Your sister wasn't fired, she chose to leave," Penolpe said firmly. "Hope is a fair employer and if you do the work, you'll be rewarded for it."

Josie stared at her for what seemed like an eternity before getting up. "fine I will take the job." She mumbled as she walked away, "And just a note, I wouldn't show this attitude with miss labonair, because you would be fired.

Hope strode into the cafe with an air of confidence. Her blue eyes scanned the room. She walked past tables of men in suits, talking business and drinking coffee, to reach the other side of the room where Penelope was sitting next to the window with the laptop on the table and her back to the door.

Hope smiled, her long amber hair swaying slightly as she walked.

"Penelope," Hope said warmly, "happy you didn't bail." Penelope rolled her eyes, "Well you did give me a job that you're meant to do." the tribrid shook her head.

"your my assistant, you're meant to help me." hope placed her hand on Penelope's shoulder before sitting on the opposite side of the women.

"so tell me how it went." hope spoke looking at the girl who just shook her head. "it was confusing."

the mikaelson looked at Penelope confused, "She said Lizzie was fired." hope shook her head, and slightly leaned back, "No, she resigned. I looked it up." the witch shrugged.

"Josie must be lying. but it doesn't matter I guess." penolpe nodded, but then looked at hope, "But, why would Josie's mum tell her that you fired Lizzie." the girl asked looking at hope who just shrugged.

"I'm not sure. but, if Lizzie didn't quit it's either Caroline and Rebekah who made it seem as if they did." the brunette looked and the tribrid who was looking at her phone, "I bet, Lizzie didn't quit. caroline hasn't liked me since the whole crash." 

"you know what your implying is illegal." hope nodded.
