"you know what your implying is illegal." penolpe spoke, holding her breath as she looked at her boss.

Hope nodded and sighed heavily. "I know, but it's the only logical conclusion I can draw from what Josie told you." She ran her hands through her long amber hair and then looked around the room before fixing her gaze back on Penelope. "But like you said, I should not jump to conclusions without finding out all of the facts first."

penolpe stared at the mikaelson who suddenly looked emotionless, "hope!" she whisper and yelled . "what are we gonna do? if Lizzie didn't quit then that means Caroline and rebekah have caused this and..."

Hope held up a hand, stopping Penelope mid-sentence. "We'll figure something out," she said in a firm voice. "But for now we should focus on finding out the truth and me running the business." all the girls was nod.

"there's something else, I need to tell you." penolpe took a sip of her drink and looked at the table, "Klaus Mikaelson has found the woman who caused the crash." She paused, "He wants to bring her in and I don't know if we can trust him."

Hope's eyes widened as she thought through the implications of Klaus Mikaelson being involved. "Well he is a Mikaelson," she said after a minute or two of silence. "But I'm not sure what his motives are." the girl looked into penolpes eyes. "he's going to kill her... he's going to kill the person i have dreamt about killing since the crash."

Penelope looked at Hope in obvious shock. "Killing her won't bring justice," Penelope said slowly. "We need to find another way and make sure that she pays for what she did."

Hope smiled sadly, "i swear, im going to be the person who kills her, even if i have to anger my father." Her face hardened with determination. "I'm not letting her get away from what she has done and Klaus Mikaelson will won't stop me". She stood up, her lips in a grim line.

"You don't have to do this alone," Penelope said soothingly, reaching out and squeezing Hope's shoulder reassuringly. "you do not have to go now, we can go and have a walk maybe around town, then you can go talk to your father."

Sadness is a heavy blanket of misery, both visible and invisible; a feeling that wraps itself around our hearts and smothers them. It is not just pain or hurt but something much deeper – an all-encompassing heaviness that can be felt deep within our bones, so strong it shakes us to the core. It's an overwhelming emotion which brings with it loneliness, regret and despair as if we're being sucked into an abyss from which there seems no escape.

That's what lizzie was feeling, sadness.

"well done!" she laughed, looking at her sister who had a big smile on her face, "i knew they wouldn't turn someone away like you." Josie went to hug her sister who accepted it.

"you don't have to fake being happy lizzie, im your twin i can feel you." lizzie shook her head, "Don't worry about me."

The loneliness was overwhelming. It seemed to hang in the air like an invisible barrier, blocking out any noise or sign of life around me. There were no crickets chirping, no wind whistling, no cars passing by – only a heavy silence bearing down on me so oppressively that I had difficulty breathing. I longed for some kind of sound to penetrate this eerie quiet, but all I could hear was the beating of my own heart as it raced in anticipation of something sinister lurking just out of sight.

Suddenly a voice broke through the stillness. It was soft but unmistakable and sounded familiar like I had heard it before somewhere. As if on cue, a figure emerged from the shadows and stepped into the dim light casting an ethereal glow around them. "Lizzie?" It was rebekah, her dark blue eyes stared at her niece.

"rebekah, what are you doing here." hope asked, the older woman shook her head. "i could ask you the same thing, dear niece. you're not meant to be down here." the silence was so loud when no one was speaking, "i know what you did, aunt." those were the only words hope said, she took a step towards rebekah so they were only inches apart.

"you may think, oh... 'hope would never want to hurt me' but you messed with something that had no concern to you. I'm going to let Dad destroy Aurora because when I'm done haunting you, I will have bypassed  that bitch."

the shock in Rebekah's eyes was clear as day, she knew that hope would never do such a thing. but at the same time she could see the determination and hate in her niece's face. "you can't be serious," rebekah said softly.

Hope just glared at her aunt before replying, "You don't know how serious I am."

rebekah looked the girl in the eye, hopes' gold eyes looked back at her, "Don't push me aunt, and don't make the villain."
