He really should have seen this coming. Stinger had thought he'd be fine but apparently not. It was kind of his own doing though, so he had no right to complain.

It was just becoming morning, or at least what they deemed as morning on the ship. Stinger really did not want to get up right now. He felt like he hadn't slept at all even though realistically he knew he had slept a good amount. But right now he felt like he had been hit by a train.

It didn't take much to piece together why. Stinger knew without a doubt that he was sick. He felt off beginning yesterday afternoon, but had ignored it. Unfortunately, ignoring it wasn't really going to do too much for him. He also knew exactly why he was sick too.

"It's not like you to sleep in. Something wrong?"

Stinger blinked open his eyes. Scorpio was already up and getting moving for the day. He was eyeing Stinger up.

"I'm fine..." Stinger mumbled, forcing himself up. His body ached with every movement.

Much to his dismay, his predicament was easily noticed.

"You're sick, aren't you?" Scorpio asked in a flat tone.

"No. I'm fine! I'm not-" Stinger broke off as his voice cracked bad. He let out a dry cough.

Scorpio sighed and rolled his eyes at the younger boy. "I told you this was going to happen and you didn't listen."

Stinger frowned at his words. He crossed his arms. He didn't want to be scolded.

"At least you waited till I got better." Scorpio teased.

"Aniki!" Stinger complained.

"You did this to yourself."

Stinger bit back a reply. It was true, unfortunately. He had done this to himself. His insistence on staying near Scorpio while he was sick was his downfall. Now he caught whatever it was.

"I guess the only question is how stubborn are you going to be?"

Stinger glared in reply. Scorpio chuckled at his response.

"I see. Well then, will you at least stay in bed for now?"

"Maybe." Stinger replied.

"Is this payback for how I acted?" Scorpio questioned.

"Maybe."

Scorpio cracked a smile. "Fine. We can play that game then. I'm going to see what's on the agenda for today. You stay here."

Stinger kept up his frown. Scorpio rolled his eyes and headed out the door.

"I'm taking that as a yes, by the way." He stated before the door closed.

Scorpio started making his way to the bridge. Along the way, he ran into Kotaro. Well, it was moreso Kotaro ran to catch up to him.

"Where's Stinger? Isn't he with you today?" Kotaro questioned. It was a strange sight to see in the morning. Normally the two brothers were together.

"He's gotten himself sick." Scorpio replied.

"Eh? Now he's sick?" Kotaro pouted at the response.

Scorpio chuckled. "That's what he gets for staying near me while I was ill. He had it coming, unfortunately."

"Can I help take care of him?" Kotaro asked.

"You want to get sick too?"

"But..." Kotaro trailed off. "I guess I shouldn't get too close to him right now..."

"I don't think dropping by to check in every now and again will hurt, but try to keep your distance. We don't need everyone on the ship getting sick."
