"So y'all going on a date later on tonight or wha?" Trin asked, smiling from ear to ear at the fact that her best friend is going on a date. That's something that never happened before to Melanii so Trin was low key happier for her than Melanii is her self.

"Yes we are, he's taking me to Dave and busters cause that's where I wanna go." Trin squealed at the thought of seeing her best friend having a good time with someone who cares more about what she wants and her needs. "Bitch calm down, your way happier than I am." Melanii let out a light laugh watching her best friend.

"I'm sorry it's just.. I have a feeling that you and Notti are going to have a good time, ending the night off happy as fuck." Melanii knew Trin was kind of right, well hoping she was considering not everything could go right but instead go left.

That's something she didn't want to happen, if she really thought about it then what could possibly go wrong when they go on a date with each other.. "Hopefully it does go good cause I'm not tryna have a bad time with someone I like.." Melanii is having high hopes for later on tonight because it's of course gonna be her first date an arcade date at that.

Like I said before she always wanted to go on one so she's having high hopes for it. For the rest of the day at school all her and Ethan thought about was the date.

Neither of their minds went somewhere else like they wanted it to well they tried but it didn't work out— only for like a second. As the day resumed the two got even more nervous by the second.

Melanii arrived home doing the same thing she always does, telling her mother about her day as usual. This is something that is never gonna change between the two unless something stops them.

Melanii told Ashley that she was going on a date with Ethan last week so of course Ashley has also been more excited for her than she is. She liked that her daughter is finding someone that will treat her right, have respect for her and over all be with her.

Ashley is and isn't used to niggas walking in and out of her daughters life. She started letting her date in middle which Melanii wasn't really fucking with it until she met this one guy named Andre. He was one of the little popular middle schoolers that was technically a player but for Melanii he was not.

He cut off everyone around him for her, she of course told him not to because she didn't see the reason why he needed to do all of that. They were dating for a couple of months until she found out about the rumor that was going around about him making a group chat sending other young girls nudes to his friends.

She immediately shut that shit down and of course got him in trouble for it. She didn't like nun of that shit, when it came to girls no matter if they were being a hoe or not she didn't fuck wit it.

After that she didn't mess with any other dude in that school or just in general.. that was until she got to high school. Now high school was her peak for real. That's when she got ' popular ' but to her she didn't give a fuck about popularity like others did. She was more humbled then others.

That's how she met Triniti— she was also a popular girl that went to a different middle school. Her and Trin met in their second period which was dance, they both enjoyed it and vibed together. But that's besides the point— once throughout the months both of the girls got popular for their looks and how humbled they were.
