The truth of the matter was that Asiphile was extremely confused and skeptical about Yoliswa.
Her mind went to an overdrive just thinking about her. And so she went to the gym, worked. Anything to keep busy.
Why would a woman like her be interested in her? Was this some ploy from HR to get her fired? Was the woman conducting some sort of experiment for her show and had wanted to use her as a subject??
The scariest part of it all was simply having someone as powerful, important and beautiful as YV seeing her.
Her- Asiphile Dlamini. A simple woman with a simple job, a simple life. What could she possibly even offer her?
She shakes her head and gets ready for lunch with her father and sister.
"How are you?" She greets her dad who is already at their table. The man being thirty minutes early. Asiphile being fifteen minutes early, the apple not falling far from the tree. Her sister of course would be twenty minutes late.
There is few talk between herself and her father. Both not being much talkers.
"Hey ya," Asivile comes through their table kissing their cheeks and hugging them before settling down at the table and going on about how the kids delayed her and all about her week.
"P... What's on your mind?" Asivile asks sensing that her sister has a lot on her mind.
"Ah nothing V. I'm just enjoying the atmosphere..." Asiphile clears her throat and sips her beer.
"Are you sure, daddy she seems a bit different wouldn't you agree?"
Her father sips his beer and glances her way.
"Yeah... It does seems like there's something weighing on her mind..."
Asiphile dismisses them and they eat their food. She asks about how her nieces are doing.
"What does it mean when someone wants to know more about you?"
Asivile nearly squeals.
"Aye aye ... Baby sis is in loooooooove."
"Stop that V..." Asiphile quickly rebukes her and frowns feeling her chest actually tightening.
Asivile actually has a moment of pride. She never thought this day would come. Her sister has very high walls. She's reserved and awfully quiet. She feared that she would never find someone and it actually saddened her.
But this information she was presented with was a game changer.
"Well..." She grabs her sister's hands into hers.
"It actually means that that person is interested in you. There is something about you that they like and they want to be closer to you... But tell me more so I can give you a more precise answer on what it means..." Asivile's eyes sparkle with curiously and joy.
Asiphile takes a deep breath and tells them the story. From the flowers YV sent her. Asking to meet her, their meeting and to her calling again to ask for another meeting. She of course leaves out who the person is. She doesn't tell them her name.
"And you said No???"
"Oh P..." V sighs disappointment filling her chest.
"Why?!"
"Well because I didn't understand what she was trying to do and she's someone that's kind of a really big deal... I highly doubt she's interested in me like that..."
"Well she is interested in you like that," her dad speaks up.
"Well, do you like her?" V asks.
"Well, no I don't... I mean... I don't know. Well I admire her. She's brilliant. Speaks her mind. I have never thought of her like that... I mean.. eh I don't know."
