The week is filled with bubbling excitement and preparations. During the week YV spends half her day at work and the other half shopping and decorating the other guest room with pink and purple colours. From the bedcovers, blankets, pillows, the curtains, the chair, the fluffy rug. She incorporates all of Nozwi's colours. By the time Friday comes, the guestrom is nothing short of a pink and purple aesthetic- sickeningly girly and little themed, and yet a dream bedroom of a girly little.
"Well... I guess it kind of looks like her house?" Asi looks around slowly, her mind getting a bit overstimulated from all the details in the bedroom.
"Well that's a good thing then babe, because we want it to feel familiar so that she's comfortable..."
"Where did you even get the time to do all this. Jesus!!-- you changed the mattress too?"
She laughs when Asi quickly stands up from the bed, feeling it with their hands.
"I wanted it to be softer..."
"I see..." Asi slowly nods her head.
"You did amazing baby. I wouldn't want to sleep with all this pink, I would go blind probably, but I guess Nozwi will want to... I can't believe you did not for once asked for my help..."
"Thank you baby... I didn't want to bother you and I had it under control..."
"Now can you be under me?" Asi unexpectedly pulls her by her waist.
She laughs and runs away from them. "Why must you be so sex crazed all the time?"
Asi pouts following her, their pout changes to a smirk seeing her take her clothes off inside their bedroom. She looks over her shoulder.
"I am going to shower..."
The Dlaminis shower together.
Nozwi arrives before 6 pm, wearing pyjamas.
"Why is your child wearing pyjamas when the sun is still in the sky?" Asi whispers seeing Nozwi come out of the car.
"You tell me..." Yoli tries not to act surprised by Nozwi's choice of clothing.
They walk towards her and Nozwi blushes seeing them.
"Nozwiii..." Yoli smiles at her.
"Hii" she chokes out, her nerves sitting on her throat. Yoli takes her into a soft hug.
"Hey gaming princess. Bring that here..." Asi playfully says before taking her backpack and carrying it for her.
They walk into the house, YV's hand in Nozwi's and Asi's arm over Nozwi's shoulder on the other side.
Nozwi's belly is butterfly house. She can barely focus on what they are saying. She vaguely registers sitting down.
"Why are you wearing pyjamas?" Asi asks unable to hold back.
"Cause it's a sleepover?" Nozwi answers.
"Of course. Of course..." Asi responds, but still doesn't understand.
The only thing in Yoli's head is how adorable she looks in those fluffy pyjamas and bunny shaped socks.
"Come let's see your bedroom, Yoli extends her hand and Nozwi shly takes it." They walk down the small passage and turn left. Yoli opens the door and Nozwi's eyes light up.
"So this is your bedroom, ours is the last door, where the passage ends." She moves to open the closet.
"This is your closet, and this door is your bathroom..."
