"Ummm what else should we add?" YV ponders looking at Asi for input, but the non-binary simply shrugs focusing on the women's soccer playing on the screen.

"Babeeee... help me out..." YV whines wishing she could switch off the TV.

"Firstly I have no idea why we have to write her a letter like it's the Victorian era. We can just call her and tell her, yes, we still want her to be our little." Asi says without taking their eyes off the screen, making their wife roll her eyes.

"Baby, it's the sentiment behind it. Letters are more meaningful and thoughtful especially now in such a digital era..."

"Okay love..." Asi says her attention not much on their wife.

Yoli stands up. Asi looks at her. Was she angry? They stand up too.

"Okay baby, I'm sorry. You have my full attention now." They hug her behind her waist. She smiles a lil.

"Sounds good baby." Asi says

"Don't you think we should add something?"

"Maybe add, we look forward to hearing from you soon..." Asi suggests. YV laughs.

"Baby, this is not a job application letter or email, but thank you for your input..." She laughs at them.

The following morning, Asi passes by her office and Nozwi's face heats up a bit seeing them.

"Hello Miss Gule, Yoli asked me to give you this" they hand her the envelope.

She blushes looking away from them and says a quiet thank you.

Asi nods and leaves her office.

She nervously opens the letter. She reads it and a gummy smile makes its way on her face. Butterflies erupt in her stomach and her cheekbones turn pink.

She's happy and nervous all at once. She spends the rest of the day with her head in the clouds.

Asi comes back from home to find their wife waiting for them by the door.

"Hi baby" they smile

"Hi love, did you give her the letter, what did she say?" She asks barely able to contain herself.

"And here I was thinking you were wanting to rip my clothes off..." they kiss her.

"I will, after you tell me how it went."

"I gave her the letter and went to my office. She said thank you... I didn't go see her afterwards..."

"Do you think she changed her mind again..." She asks worried

"Why would she? Baby relax mm-mmm. Come here, I missed you" they pick her up and she squeals.

Later in the evening, they call her, rather Yoli asks Asi that they call her.

"Hello?" Nozwi answers in a sleepy voice.

"Hi Nozwile, sorry we woke you up... It's Yoli and Asi..." Yoli says

"It's okay... Sorry I was sleeping..." Nozwi says her nerves less with her mind not fully awake.

"It's okay, we are sorry we woke you from your beauty sleep. We called to ask if you could come to our house this weekend. We want to spend some time with you so we can get to know each other more..."
