Dreamy Morning

They didn't want to overwhelm her and so they don't contact her during the entire week. They don't want to come off as too strong and push her away, otherwise if it were for them, she would already be living with them and sharing endless cuddles and hugs.

On the other hand, their lack of contact makes Nozwi wonder if they have changed their minds about wanting her to be their little. Maybe they had actually realised that they didn't like her. The thought of that is daunting for her.

But the weekend comes with the rising sun and stars, Asi and Yoli call to spend time with her.

They are waiting for her by the door and she can't believe how happy she is to see them again.

"Hey sweet girl," Yoli smiles at her and she shyly says "hi,"

"Master Gamer" Asi smiles too and Nozwi can't help but smile back.

"We missed you, and you look so cute, can I have a hug?" Yoli looks optimistic. But Nozwi wasn't used to hugs and so she keeps still, not knowing how to respond.

"Okay... Let's go inside..." Yoli gets the memo.

Inside, they have planned an indoor picnic for the three of them. Nozwi's eyes light up when she sees the set up.

"You like?" Asi asks and she nods her head.

"You better- cause your momm-" they cough and correct themselves, "Yoli made me work on the set up all morning..."

"Don't mind them, they are just dramatic," Yoli waves them off.

"You can sit on the pillow..." She points to the pink pillow in the middle. They sit on either side of her.

Yoli pours them some lemonade and they eat some grapes, there is an assortment of fruits, cheese and crackers.

Nozwi's heart dances inside her. She's never experienced something like this before. Just sitting here like this.

"So how was your week?" Yoli asks without looking at her, she had learnt that the more she spoke to her without looking at her, the less nervous Nozwi was.

Nozwi keeps quiet for a bit, no one had ever asked her this before. A small smile blooms on her face "It was okay... Thank you for asking" she responds.

"Did your boss bother you?" She asks again and Nozwi smiles again.

"No..." She shakes her head.

"Good. If they do, just tell me and I know how to sort them out, okay?"

"Mmhmm" Nozwi nods smiling.

"Already ganging up on me huh... tsk tsk tsk..." Asi playfully shakes their head.

"How did you know my pronouns are they/them?" Asi wonders noticing that Nozwi had taken to referring to them as them/they whenever she used Asi's pronouns.

"I saw the form we were filling once at the airport and I saw that you had ticked they/them in the section for pronouns... Also Mrs Yoli refers to you by they/them pronouns..."

"Hmmm smart... You know what else?"  Asi looks at her and smiling at the way the younger girl shakes her head.

"I'm also intersexed... meaning I have a penis instead of a..."

Nozwi's face heats up and she downs her lemonade, quickly nodding her head, not wanting Asi to continue talking because talking about such adult stuff made her feel really embarassed...

"Okay..." She says and there is no judgement or anything of the sort in her face.

"We have a few things we want you to know also. We really hope that this works out, because we really like you. But also we want you to know that this is not just about us, but you too. So if at any point in time you are uncomfortable, don't be scared to tell us. Also we will respect all your boundaries. And if there is something you would like or don't like, tell us or you can write it down okay?" Asi looks at her and she nods her head.
