Khan Haveli mein aaj boht chehl pehl thi. Har koi idhar udhar kaam mein masroof tha. Murtasim was outside in lawn looking at decoration and instructing the event planners. Everything was in pink and purple ombre theme as it's Meesam new favorite. You guess it right. It was Meesam s 4th birthday and as always Murtasim arrange a grand birthday bash for her. Though she was just 4 years old Murtasim spoils her with everything he could. He was madly obsessed with his daughter to which Meerab often complains but when it comes to Meesam he listens to no one.
After giving a well decorated lawn a final glance he comes back in the house. Looking around he asked one helper about Meerab.
Murtasim: Meerab Kahan hai.
Helper: Woh Bibi Meesam Bibi ko tayyar kr rhi hain unke kamray mein.
Murtasim nods and went to her daughter's room. Though she still sleeps in their room she have a room of her own that is a mini wonderland if not more.
He enters the room to see his wife showing Meesam dresses to choose and she's rejecting them one by one.
Meerab: Meesam ab zyada dramay na kro. Jldi se tayyar ho jao bahir Baba wait kr rhe Hain aap ka.
Meesam: Baba bulao. Mein unke Sath jaongi.
Meerab: Offo ek Toh yeh Murtasim pta nhi Kahan reh gya hai.
She looks at the door to see him standing there.
Meerab: Tm wahan kharay hans Rahe ho aur Yahan isne mjhe Pagal krdia hai. Itni ziddi hai pta nhi kis pe Chali gyi hai.
Murtasim: Tm pe hi gyi hai poori. Bs muskurati Meri tarah hai.
Meerab rolled off her eyes. To which Meesam also tries to copy her.
Meesam then see her Baba standing behind and she gets up and run to him. Murtasim bends down and pick her up.
Murtasim: Aap Mama ko tang kyun kr rhi hain Princess.
Meesam: No baba
Murtasim: Tou aap abhi tk tayyar kyun nhi hui aap.
Meesam: Baba aap dress choose kren naa.
Meerab looks at her with astonishment. Yahan woh mohtarma k peechay khuwaar hogyi magar baap k aatay saari mohabbat bs ab Murtasim k liye hai uski.
Murtasim walks towards the bed where her dresses were scattered. He picked up one princess gown in lavender color and give her that.
Meesam: Yesh mjhe yeh Wala chahiye tha.
Meerab: Tou mjhe pehle kyun nhi btaya.
Meesam: Aap ne yeh Wala dekhaya nhi tha mjhe. She said with pouty face.
Murtasim hides his laugh.
Meerab: Ab tmhaare Baba ready krengy tmhen. Mein ja rhi tayyar hone.
She walks out to change and when she came back she saw Murtasim styling her hair by looking at YouTube video. Nobody can believe Khan Murtasim Khan can be a hairstylist but for his daughter he can be anything.
Murtasim: Yeh Dekho hogya. Ab Meri princess ready hai apni party k liye.
Meesam: Thank you Baba. She hugged him with her tiny hands.
Meerab smiles at the sight but realizing the time she quickly ask them to get out of the room now.
Murtasim looks at her who was looking stunning in blush pink outfit while he was dressed up in black formal three piece. Holding Meesam s hand in one hand he walks to her and together they all went to lawn where the party was arranged.
After the party, they went to Karachi to meet Waqas chacha and Anila Chachi as they couldn't attend the party due to some important court hearing.
Meerab and Murtasim was smiling seeing their little princess getting all the protocol at her Nani ka Ghar.
Meerab: Baba ab tou mjhe lgta hai aap ko Meesam mjhse zyada pyari hogyi hai.
Waqas chacha: Asal se zyada Sood pyara hota hai beta. Aur Meesam mein tou waqai hamari jaan basti hai. Mjhe Tou subha se intezar tha apni shehzadi se Milne k liye. Saying he looks at Meesam who was busy eating cupcakes sitting in his lap. Woh alag baat hai adhe se zyada Chocolate uske muh pe lagi thi.
They all had dinner together and then Meerab and Murtasim gets up to leave but Meesam refuses. She wants to stay with her Nana and Nani.
Meerab: Meesam beta abhi Chalo hum Baad mein phir aa jayengy.
Meesam: Nhi Mama please mjhe Yahan rukna hai. Haya khala mjhe movie bhi dekhayengi Barbie wali.
Meerab: Bete aap Ghar pe dekh liye ga woh.
Meesam: Nhi mama please na. Baba aap bolo naa Mama ko. She now turns to Murtasim.
Murtasim tries to hold her up but she refuses and turns around crossing her arms. That's her way of showing anger.
Murtasim knee down in front of her to say something but she said before.
Meesam: Baba mjhe yahin rehna hai please. She said showing her puppy face.
Ek Tou yeh Maa beti ko sahi blackmail krna aata hai. Murtasim thought.
Murtasim: Okay but this is the only time I am allowing you for it.
Meerab: But Murtasim.....
Waqas chacha: Arey it's okay Meerab. Tm log jao meri shehzadi yahi Rahe gi mere pass. Saying he picks her up in his arms to which Meesam giggles.
Meerab: But Baba aap log pareshan hongy iske peechay.
Haya: Nhi Meerab, yeh bilkul tang nhi krti hai. Tm befikr ho k jao mein iska poora khayal rkhungi.
Anila Chachi: Balkay mein Tou keh rhi hoon tm dono bhi yehi ruk jao Aaj.
Before she could reply Murtasim refuses saying he have some meetings tomorrow.
They bid them bye and leaves the house. While sitting in the car Meerab ask him.
Meerab: Tmhaari kaunsi meeting hai Sunday ko?
Murtasim: Koi bhi nhi.
Meerab: Tou phir Jhoot kyun kaha
Murtasim: Kyun k mjhe pta tha k tmhen Ghar wapis Jana hai. He winks at her to which she shook her head in disbelief. This guy is truly unbelievable. Uske sochne se pehle hi isse uska Dil ka Haal pta hota tha. They both sat down and Murtasim took the car out of the Waqas House. It's been so long he had a drive with her at late night.
Murtasim: Wese tm ne Kya decide Kya apni law practice ka?
Meerab: Wahi Jo pehle btaya tha.
Murtasim: Are you sure? Meerab it was your dream to be a lawyer and now when you have completed your degree You're saying you don't want to practice.
Meerab: It was my dream but now the reality is more precious than dreams. Ab mjhe law practice nhi krna at least abhi. Haan agar Baad mein Dil chaha Tou krlungi apply but for now Meesam is more important responsibility for me. Phir Panchayat k faislay aur haveli ki zimmedari bhi Tou hai naa. Wese bhi degree complete hone k Baad Ek Saal ka break Tou mein deserve krti hoon.
Last line she said in a childish way to which Murtasim smiles and nods his head.
Murtasim: Kya soch rhi ho tm. He ask looking at her lost face.
Meerab: Kch nhi
Murtasim: Mjhe pta hai tm meesam ko le k abhi tk concern ho. Yr it's okay tbh upset tou mein bhi hoon uske baghair rehne ki aadat nhi hai but I am sure Waqas chacha will take care of her very well. And she'll be happy there. Afterall uske nana ka Ghar hai. Murtasim ne muskura kr kaha.
Meerab: I know baba uski boht care krty Hain. Mama Baba ko ab mjhse zyada uska intezaar hota and I wasn't thinking about her. 
Murtasim: Tou phir Kya Socha ja rha tha Janab. Murtasim said while turning steering wheel.
Meerab: Soch rhi thi Zindagi Kitne badal gyi hai. Ek waqt tha jab yeh khayal hi uljhan deta tha k haveli Jana hai. Yaad hai jb mein apni birthday pe aati thi tb boht irritate hoti thi but ab Wohi jagah hai Jahan Dil lgta hai. Kahin bhi jao wapis janay ki jldi hoti hai. Meerab Samnay wind screen ki taraf dekhtey hui bol rhi thi.
Murtasim: Haan waqai waqt boht badal gya hai. But in a most beautiful way. In kch saalon mein boht kch hua hai magar tm Sath thi and that's what makes every moment worth cherishing. Murtasim ne ek haath steering wheel pe rkha hua tha and dusra haath se meerab ka hath thama hua tha. And she was smiling looking down at their hands intervined.
Meerab: Murtasim!
Murtasim: Kya hua
Meerab: Yeh wahi dargah hai naa.
Murtasim: Kaunsi dargah.
Meerab: Arey woh Samnay wali. Yaad hai jb tm mjhe us Raat ko Hyderabad le k ja rhy the tb meine Yahan namaz prhi thi.
Murtasim: Arey yeh kese bhool skta hoon yahan Tou mohabbat hui thi tmse.
Meerab: Kya mtlab
Murtasim: Kch nhi pehle yeh btao kyun Puch rhi thi
Meerab: Gaari ruko mjhe namaz prhni hai
Murtasim: Iss waqt kaunsi namaz prhni hai
Meerab: Nawafal prhne hain. Tm bs Chalo.
Murtasim: Jo hukum aap ka.

Murtasim Salam pherta hai Tou Dekhta hai Meerab Dua Mang rhi hai. Dono aaj wahi andar Walay kamray mein namaz prh rhy hote hain Jahan uss Raat meerab ne namaz prhi thi. Aaj bhi uska chehra utna hi Roshan tha jitna uss Roz tha magar aaj uski aankhon mein chamak thi jisse dekh k uska Dil ek baar phir uski mohabbat mein giraftar ho jata hai.
Meerab hath pherti hai Tou dekhti hai Murtasim usse hi dekh rha hai woh muskranay lgti hai. Shaadi k inn 5 Saalon mein aise kayi lamhay aaye the jb woh usse khud ko nihartay dekhti thi ab Tou uski Nazar ki aadat hogyi thi woh alag baat hai Dil ki dharkhan har dafa barh jati thi.
Murtasim: Itne Dil Jami se Kya maang rhi ho?
Meerab: Kch nhi. Aaj mangne nhi aayi bs shukar ada krne aayi hoon. Pichli dafa Jo Dua Yahan maangi thi Allah ne usse boht khoobsurat andaaz mein kubool Kiya hai. Aaj yeh darga dekh k boht kch yaad aaya. Soch rhi hoon Allah kitna meherbaan hai woh humein wahan se ata krta hai Jahan ka hamare wehm o ghumaan mein bhi nhi hota. uss Raat mein khud ko beghar or be aasra smjh k aayi thi. Aaj mere do Ghar Hain. Ek mama Baba ka aur ek hamara. Tb mjhe lga tha k Meri koi family nhi hai koi apna nhi hai magar ab itne logon k mohabbat mil gyi hai k shukar ka lafz bhi chota LG rha hai US PAK ZAAT K LIYE.
Murtasim uthke uske pass aa k beth jata hai aur uske aankh se behta aansoo ponchta hai. Meerab aahista se apna sar uske kandhe pe jhuka Deti hai.
Meerab: Magar tmhen pta hai Sab se zyada shukar kis baat ka krna hai mjhe?
Meerab ne ahista se pucha. Phir uska jawab sune baghair hi bolne lgi.
Meerab: For bringing you into my life. Tm Meri Zindagi ka Sab se qeemti tohfa ho. Tmhaari mohabbat ne Meri nafrat ko shikhast de di. Tmhaari zaat ki meethas ne mere andar paida hone wali har karwahat ko khatam krdia. Tmne Mera difah us waqt Kiya jb mjhe Kisi se umeed nhi thi. Meri har galti pe pardah rkha Mera har zulm har ziyadti bardasht ki halakay tm woh Sab deserve nhi krty the. Tm ek behtreen shohar aur baap ho and I can't even think of any better. Magar Sab se barh kar tmhaara Dil hai Jo uss tang mauhol aur riwayat ki beech mein rehtay hue bhi sakht nhi hua.
Murtasim: Itna acha lgta hoon mein??
Uski muskuraati awaaz aayi.
Meerab: Haan boht ache lgte ho. Sab ka khayal rkhne Walay. Kisi se na darne Walay. Hamari dhaal ban janay Walay. Gussa krne Walay magar phir maaf krdene Walay. Mere Murtasim.
Murtasim ne uska chehra apne seene hataya phir hairaani se uski taraf dekha.
Murtasim: Isse achi jagah nhi mili thi yeh baat bolne k liye?
Meerab: Isse achi koi jagah ho skti hai bhala. Usne kandhe uchka kar kaha.
Phir uthke bahir Chali gyi.

Murtasim: Meerab yr jawab tou sunti jao.
Meerab: Khan Sahab Ghar chalen Raat zyada hogyi hai. Maa Begum intezaar kr rhi hongi.
Murtasim: Kya khayal hai aaj gaon na chalen. He winked at her. Woh dono ab wapis gaari tk aa gye the.
Meerab: Gaon kyun.
Murtasim: You just confessed. Meesam is also not with us now so you know.......
Meerab: MURTASIM!!!! Baaz aa jao tm.
Murtasim: It's too late now Khaani sahiba.  He said while getting into the car and meerab can't help hiding her blush.
And they head off to their way......
