Hall mein enter hote hue usse mamool se zyada hi chehl pehl dikh rhi thi.
Murtasim: Aaj koi mehmaan aaye Hain?

Murtasim nods and enters the drawing room Jahan se Sab ki awaazen aa rhi thi.

Kadmon ki aahat pr Sab se pehle Maryam ne darwaaze ki taraf dekha aur phir uski cheekh shayad poori haveli ne Suni thi.

Everybody looks at the door frame where he was standing wearing a white kameez shalwar styled with blue blazer. Maa Begum and Anwar chacha stand up from their places and walk towards him whereas Meerab was lost looking at him only.
Maa Begum: Arey Mera bacha aaya hai. Mjhe Tou yaqeen hi nhi aa rha. Itne salon Baad Meri mamta ko karaar aaya hai. He bows in front of her and she kisses his forehead. Holding his face in her hands she was saying while crying.
Anwar chacha: Beta apne aanay ki itlaah Tou krty hum tmhen khud pick krne aate airport se.
Murtasim: Chacha Sahab bta deta Tou surprise kese deta phir.
Maryam also comes forward and hugs him.
Mariyam: Bhai hum Sab ne aap ko boht miss Kiya. Ab bs aap Kahi nhi jayengy kbhi bhi.
In Sab k beech Murtasim ki Nazar Baar Baar uske taraf ja rhi thi Jo Sab se be niyaz bs usse hi takk rhi thi. Shayad usse yaqeen nhi aaya tha abhi tk. Bhoori aankhon ki nami Murtasim ko apne Dil pe girti mehsoos hui thi.
Anwar chacha: Arey Meerab tm wahan kyun bethi ho yahan aa k Milo Tou.
Anwar chacha ki awaaz pe woh hosh mein aayi thi.
Uth k woh un Sab k qareeb ja k Khari hui thi. Her lips moved very slowly and it was almost whispered when she said.
Meerab: Assalam o alaikum
Murtasim: Walaikum assalam.
Maa Begum: Arey hum bhi ajeeb Hain tm itna lamba safar kr k aaye ho aur humne tmhen darwazay pe khara Kiya hua hai. Aao andar chal k betho.
They all went back to their positions while Murtasim took the couch opposite Maa Begum. That's when he noticed the meethai and other refreshments were placed on the table.
Murtasim: Maa Sahab yeh meethai kis Khushi mein?
Maa Begum: Arey Haan mein tou btana hi bhool gyi. Ek khush kabhri hai. Hum ne Meerab ki mangni krdi hai.
His heart skips a beat. His mind was not able to register what he just heard. He looks at Meerab in a swift motion and that's when she looks back at him. He could clearly see her watery eyes. Upon eye contact Meerab held her gaze low and his eyes followed to see her ring finger shining with a diamond ring. He felt someone just held his heart so tightly that it was going to bleed any minute.
Murtasim: Mangni??????
He said in upmost disbelief. Tou Kya usne waqai der krdi hai...............
