Quintessential Pokémania

Round 1

Well here I am! Ready to take my chance at a second story! If you're here from my other story, "Together", I would just like to say thank you in advance for your continued support, even outside of my original story! It truly means the world to me.

Also, in case you were wondering, yes, Together will still receive updates, just probably not as frequently.

Now, if the title didn't already give it away, this is going to be a TQQ x Pokémon crossover story! I love the quintuplets and I've always been such a huge fan of Pokémon so just combining the two seems like a given. Plus, the official quintuplet franchise has done so many different collabs with so many different franchises, like Sanrio and even Duel Masters, BUT NOT POKÉMON FOR SOME GODFORSAKEN REASON!!! Soooo let's change that, shall we?

Also, I'm open for suggestions for whoever you'd like to see on whomever's team! There's a couple Pokémon I have in mind for each of the characters that is going to be a mainstay on their team (i.e. won't be rotated out), But I'm open to any and all suggestions! Even the ridiculous ones like giving them legendaries! 🤣

All right, well, let's see how this first chapter turns out!

"Come on, dude! Quit lagging!" a loud, over energetic young male voice rang out. "When I said, 'our journey starts today', I meant it!"

The abundance of energy was met with a yawn and an uninterested groan from a second young male, this one in no hurry to get to wherever it was that they were going. "Bro, chill. Wanna tell me again why exactly it has to start today?" The second voiced asked flatly. "Can't we just kick back and enjoy our summer by playing video games like we usually do?"

The two boys, one with H/C hair and E/C eyes and the other with bleach blonde hair and golden eyes, were walking together near an open field, each of them wearing an opposite expression on their faces and radiating opposite auras of one another.

"Oh come on, Fuutarou!" The first voice voice said in an almost pleading manner. "You really want to stay inside and just play video games all summer? You can't be serious right now!" The boy exclaimed. "That's all we've done the last couple years!"

"And?" Fuutarou said, his voice still drenched with his uninterested tone. "Why can't we do that again this year, Y/N?" He asked. "What makes this particular year so special?"

"You're really asking that?! It's because we're now both 10 years old, duh!" Y/N exclaimed. "And do you know what that means?"

"That we're still about 10 years away from being able to drink legally?" Fuutarou asked. Y/N facepalmed and rolled his eyes at his friend's cheeky remark.

"Well...yeah..." Y/N said flatly. "But I can't believe you're forgetting the most important thing!"

"Annnnnd...what might that be?" Fuutarou asked with a raised eyebrow.

Y/N was quickly starting to lose his patience with his best friend. "Ugh. You're doing that on purpose aren't you?"

"Is it getting on your nerves?"

"It's starting to, yeah."

A grin worked its way onto Fuutarou's face. "Then yes. Yes I am." He said proudly.
