I was in my window seeing the stars shining on their own when suddenly heavy rain came down. I suddenly close the windows and jump up to my bed.

"Why did it suddenly rain, just when the sky was clear earlier?" I asked myself.

With nothing else to do, I decided to take a book from my bookshelf to read.

"Hmm, this book seems to have an interesting story. I'll read this for now."

After taking the book from the shelf, I promptly returned to my bed and lay down to begin reading.

"How does it feel to have your first love?" The book greeted me.
I wasn't really interested in such matters because I didn't believe in the concept of "first love" they talked about. However, this time, I became curious to read it.

"Love is something worth the risk, but sometimes, when overused, it doesn't lead to healing right away. How do you know if a guy is true to you? First and foremost, love takes time. If the love you're being shown is rushed and uncertain, it's not true love, but impatience. How can you tell if someone is The One?" This was one part of the book that made me wonder "what if."

Many thoughts crossed my mind, such as...

"Could it be that I'm just assuming and that's why I feel these things?"

"Or am I feeling this because I truly love him?"

I pondered and pondered until I came up with a perfect idea.

The next morning...

It's Saturday, and I went to the church to seek guidance from the Lord about what I'm going to do later.

"God, I know you have the right direction for my plan. Guide me in everything I will do. I surrender to you all the feelings and thoughts that trouble me. Hopefully, everything will be better tomorrow." I prayed earnestly to the Lord.

After visiting the church, I also stopped by the grocery store to buy the things I needed for the house.

The weather is pleasant today, so I expect our meeting with Jarelle tonight to go well.

I've already prepared my outfit for later, then I took a shower.

At night...

This is what I've been waiting for. I got into the car to go to the coffee shop because

Jarelle was already there. When I got off, he picked me up and we went to our seats together.

"You look beautiful tonight, Alianna!" he greeted me.
I smiled at him and sat down.

He called the waiter to take our order.

"One roast beef and red wine, please! How about yours, Alianna?"

"Same as yours, and an additional matcha latte," I replied.

We chatted while waiting for our orders to arrive.

Why did I invite him to eat out?

As the book I read said, "To know that the person in front of you is destined for you, they always gaze at you. Because it means that no other person, thing, or event can change the direction of their gaze towards you."

I observed him as he did the same to me.

Finally, our order arrived, and we started eating. I began to take some bite I lift up my eyes to looked at Jarelle minding his business eating and not glaring at me I looked back at my plate and think that he is just hungry I let it slide at first, because maybe I am just assuming that he is not the one I looked at me again and this time he looked up and glares at me smiling, a sweet smile from my lover I smiled back at him as I take a sip at my latte Jarelle rested his elbow at the table as he curled his curled his hands and take a glance at me.
