I can really tell that time is going so fast, next month is already my birth month. I have a lot of plans and I'm so excited to fulfill them. But first I still need to finish all of my tasks. Julyza called me.
"Hey girl, what's up?"
"I'm fine, how about you?" I responded.
"Same, I haven't seen you in a long time."
"Come on girl, next month is my birthday and you guys are invited as always." I replied in a sarcastic tone.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot." Julyza answered.
We talked for about an hour. I ended the call since we don't have any topics. Moments later I realized that Zandro has the same birthday. "Does that mean we get to celebrate our birthday together?" I was about to sleep but Zandro texted me…
"Hey Alianna, I just wanted to check up on you."
"Hi Zandro, I'm doing fine now. By the way, next month is our birth month." I replied.
"Oh yeah, we should go out and treat ourselves." Zandro responds.
"Duh, you gotta treat me because it's my birthday."
"Bro, it's also my birthday. Remember?"
"So you're calling me bro?" I randomly chat.
"Oh sorry,what should I call you? Love?"
I dropped my phone in shock. L-love? Did he just call me love?
"Hey, Ali are you there? I was just joking, don't be too serious."
I respond "HAHAHA" but deep inside I can feel the butterflies in my stomach. I did not expect him to call me love randomly, I know it was a joke, but for me it has an impact.
I'm glad that Zandro is back. I mean come on, I haven't seen him in a long time. I'm still looking forward to making memories with him. I cherish all the memories that I had with him.
I still remember the time that I decided to treat Zandro matcha because it's my favorite drink. I didn't know that he didn't like matcha so I was surprised when he spit it out and said it tasted like grass. Instead of being angry, I was happy and thrilled because of his cuteness.
I hope that one day we can remake those memories.
Because in those times I can see myself being happy and feeling like home when I'm with him.
"Enough Ali, let's talk about my birthday instead." I whispered to myself.
The next day, I decided to go to a party store to buy some decorations for my birthday. Suddenly I bumped into someone, it was Jarelle! It's like a deja vu. We always bump into each other.
"Um hey Jarelle." I awkwardly said.
"Hey Alianna, it's been a long time since we haven't seen each other. What brings you here?" He responded.
"Oh um I'm just buying stuff and decorations for my birthday."
"Wait, when was your birthday again?" He asserts.
"What! you forgot?" I reacted surprisedly.
"Haha of course not, I'm just joking. It's on August 25th right?"
"Yeah, um I probably should go, they're probably looking for me." After I said that I quickly rushed to the counter to pay for the decorations and left.
Since I have plenty of time to plan what I'm gonna do on my birthday. I started to search up some inspiration on the internet. Since I have saved up, I will buy clothes for my birthday and that will be my birthday gift to myself. I can't believe I'm turning 21 this August.
